yes. i have crutches. hopefully be back out before the season ends... i'm sure next week end i will.. it's super park! gotta hit it up and film.. and i'm not hiking to the park. i'd rather strap in and ride down like a gimp than walk up with damn crutches.

hurt knee.. pain killers are good. i don't know the exact status of the injury.. but it hurts, so that is all i need to know at the moment.
still shreding though. if i can walk, i can ride. so thats what i'm living my life by at the moment. just taking it easy, cruise time. winter is holding in there though.. we got a little snow fall this morning. hopefully helps out a tad. we will see. i'm expecting a mid/late march blizzard.. maybe even early april if anything like last years spring shred.

yay. skiBrule opened yesterday. it was sweet. only a few runs, but oh well, we were all just happy to make a road trip and ride some free snow. luckily, mqt. mt. should be opening this next weekend, so we won't be without riding for very long, i miss it already.
pretty excited for the actual season to get going, yesterday me and christine were hitting their setups and were doing a lot better than where we left off last year so that was really nice, helps the confidence and drive to improve on tricks a little more i think, last year we spent a lot of time just getting used to things and never really focused on working on tricks. i think the new outer wear helps though.. as stupid as it is, what you wear kinda decides how you ride.. if you feel like an awkward noob in your set up, you're going to ride like one. if you feel awesome in it, you're going to show that confidence.

there's not snow in Marquette yet... but f*ck yeah we have waves! >>Superior<<
went for a little surf with the group. i'm bad. but want to go out again and work on it.
early October, Brule is supposed to open. very pumped for that. it's going to get me all riled up, and then not going to ride for another month or two until MQT. Mt. opens.
but very exciting. lots of events to come around in the next month or two. the MDP and ROME premier is hitting the Campus, student sale at Casualties.
very pumped to be working these events!

yo. got a few vids up here finally.. (that 60 MB limit >> lame).
but i worked it out.
this years FOSTERchild.Productions friend snowboard video, sanD.wiches, included five different sections; people parts, and four extra parts from theme days of filming.
posted is my individual part (i realize it sucks... but it's all i have to show for. haha) from the main people section and MQT Mt. 2007 from the extras section, featuring Chuck and myself out for a little short sleeve t-shirt boarding.
the season was pretty sweet, thanks to Marquette Mt. and my friends up there at NMU.

we thought winter was over too soon. then it came and hit us up the ass and is shi*tting out more snow than we had a few months ago, all in one day!

mqt mt. re-opens up tomorrow for the weekend.. maybe longer? i'm so happy. haha hopefully they will still have some good set ups, i've been focusing a lot on other people that my vid part isn't long enough, it's time for some "me" time on the slopes.

snow has been falling pretty non-stop for the past two days in Marquette, and it's f*ckin awesome! finally starting back on the rails after a few solid weeks of massive falls on ice and losing half a finger, the powder landings just made it feel a lot better today. i got my roommate to do a box and rail, that was pretty sweet. she was freaked out at first but she did really well once she got the whole speed thing down. it's been an awesome day, and i can't wait to go filming again tomorrow or Wed.
spring break next week, it'll be sick to ride the hills back home again, see what they have set up for me this year.

Marquette Mt. opened Friday, road gimp Friday and Satruday, decided not to push my luck any further by going out today, so i slept in a bit. Friday, sprained/twisted my ankle. Saturday, fell on my head off a rail, thought i had a concussion, hurt my ankle some more, now it's swollen pretty good.
it's been good times so far. i'm expecting a hospital visit by the end of the season, since i have had bad luck so far. but shi*t happens, and when you fall off, you get back on, and pray you do it differently next time.

finally geting some good snow fall in Marquette, and it's staying so why not take the boards off the wall and ride around campus a little. did some wall jumping and little cliff jumping. Public safty came and tryed to bust on us but we just stayed.
today me and christine went with the guys to the BMX track, they set up a few wooden boxes on the track and snow skated on those for a while, we did some video taping for a project then got our boards up there. got some front sides in off the kink, it was a pretty decent day. been kind of hesitant to go preseason jibbing with that group of guys, not really friends with most of them so f*cking up would have sucked.. trying to make some sort of good impression on people this winter since its my first year in marquette and a lot of girls have been talking smack and shi*t, trying to talk themselves up, and i've just been keep'n a low hype, but high profile on making myself be recognized. see if it works out for me, hopefully this year will present greatness, seems to be off to a good start so far, can only go farther with a feel good attitude about it.

wow. nice life.. its cool though. i plan on riding Thrusday anyways. a little knee trouble never stopped me from riding before. haha i don't think the injury is as bad as last time, so i'm not too worried about it.

Mack Dawk Productions came into town yesterday for the movie premiers of PEOPLE & FOLLOW ME AROUND. it was insain, free shi*t flying everywhere. i got some new Spy goggles. very good movies. Follow Me Around was amazing. very pumped for the snow to start falling here and to get my movie going. After party was amazing, snuck some beer, Christine got caught though.. so she got kicked out until Darrel Mathis and Justin Hebbel came. pictures are up, check them out. it was a lot of fun. i love NMU. wut.

Every good snowboarder gets sent to the Emergency Room..
Last year it was me bringing Tony to the Emergency room for the same boarding accident to the knee.. his was just worse. lol
yay for yellow hospital bracelets!
sprained knee.. out for a few weeks. not too bad. could have been a lot worse.
as long as it's good in 2 weeks for Cabby and Timber Ridge rail comp.. cause it'd be sweet to compete!

didn't have school today cause of confrences.. [guess those went well?].. so hit up Crystal with Kelsey Bitch, A-Dizzle, and T$. it was pretty f*cking awesome.. great pow riding earlier in the morning, and good EMPTY park all day.. good chance for us all to try some new things. Kelsey!! waaawa. i've created a jibb'n monster! and i'm just f*cking crazy when i have an empty park so no one can see my ass crash and burn. post some pictures tomorrow!? cause if you're gonna spend that much time hiking park in a gay ass helmet.. you might as well do something crazy and have something to show for it! hit up Crystal Mt. yesterday. it was decent snow and the park is pretty crazy. didn't take too much advanatage of it though.. too many people sitting around doing nothing. perhaps they were intimidated by the box..? "OH NO!! IT MIGHT f*ckING EAT MY ASS.. SUCH A BIG DROP OFF!" ..but i did see some guys go'n big. wooo. but where were the girl in the park? "OH NO!! IT MIGHT f*ckING EAT MY ASS.. SUCH A BIG DROP OFF!" ..and i admit.. i got my ass bitten a few times, but that's what park is all about.. falling and then over coming it.. or being amazing, and then shrinking your big ass ego with a nice butt bounce on some ice..
really didn't try that hard though.. pretty much only conquered the 20 footer 50/50.. but i'm saving my falls for Tuesday when no one's around.. gives me more will to go crazy on everything.. none of that, "oh she fell cause she's a girl.." but shi*t happens.
STORY TIME:
standing in the lift line.. me and Jesse hear the lift nazi behind us, "you need to have a leash for your board.." -- girl looks at him and says, "but what do you hook a leash onto??" -- well maybe onto your binding.. and then your foot.. but maybe in her case, it would have been safer to put a helmet on her head.. rather then a leash on her board.. but i danno how much a helmet would have helped..
and people wonder why i don't like girl boarders.. i've been spit at because of the girl rep.. i'm not amazing shi*t or anything.. but i'm out there in the park, doing some things that i have seen some really good guys have trouble doing.. so if you wanna spit on me for being a girl on a board, then let's race.. and no sympathy head starts.. unless you think you might need it..

Head'n up to Crystal Mt. tomorrow with Tony, Josh, and Robyn. so that's fun. i guess they have the Super Park open.. even though they only have 2 Fun Box's and maybe another rail by tomorrow.. but it's enough to get the blood flow rush'n again. anything to get a few decent jibs in, makes my day. over all, can't wait to strap in. see ya at the bottom, and hope Turkey Day was good!

Crystal opens on Thursday, so i'm head'n up there Saturday, so if anyone rides up there, and is gonna be there let me know cause i might be the dork standing behind you in the lift line..
my Anon Khaki Majestic goggles came in a box today.. so that was pretty much amazing. got some stickers for my car too.
also can't wait to try out the Burton Freestyle 06 bindings that also came in a box 2 weeks ago.. pretty much ready to go ride'n now, and can't wait to get in some jibs.
