Winter has been awesome and the snow has been abundant and wickedly fluffly. It's too bad my knees are kinda fuct up. Still none the less it's been good.
Hopefully work decides to stay open longer, not just for me catching up on the lost time but for everyone else in the city seeing how we haven't had this much snowfall in Vancouver let alone Seymour in ages.
...anyone see a cute Czech guy that's been wandering around Van/Whis named, Marek, around?! Cos you should send him my way!

Back in Canada now!
Happy but not at the same time. Have no clue what I'm gonna do now. At home, doing nothing with no one around. Not fun. However, I'd be doing the same thing in NZ but with Lem. I miss him.
I need to get out more.

I only have a week left here in NZ...
Kinda sad though...means I have to go back to the real world and have responsiblities and such. I don't wanna leave the boy either. Poor guy will be stuck here.
One thing I've learned from all this is that having roommates are sh*t. Mine just wrote me a letter saying how much we waste electricity and what not where as we're the ones looking after her ass and cleaning after her while she steals our food and our money.

I'm back in QTN now. The tourists in this town are so f-ing rude! I miss Kaikoura and the calmness of it. Ppl weren't bitching constantly and being stupidly ignorant.
Speaking of ignorance - Americans, need I say more? I am in NZ. They are in NZ.
(American) "Do you accept American money"
(Me or Lem or anyone else in the tourist industry)
"NO! We are in NZ NOT the States"
(American) "You get a better exchange rate and you're making money off of it."
(Me or Lem or anyone else in the tourist industry)
"So?! We are in NZ! NZ Dollars only!"
Regardless of the exchange rate which happens to be not so good for the American dollar at the mo NZ does NOT accept American money. This has happened about 3 times in the last 2 days! How stupid is that?
Moral of the story...Some Americans should not be allowed to set foot out of the country.

So I was at work last night and in a bad mood cos all of these things had gone wrong earlier on in the day...for example falling in a hole in the sidewalk, slamming my hand into a bolt sticking outside of this brand new building that is part of their "design", and major hayfever that wouldn't go away.
All of a sudden someone from home came in the shop. My day just became a little bit better.
It's such a small world and it's definately so nice to see ppl from home.
Today, I ran into another person from my area...he knows of my family and everything!
...apparently, I have a BC accent too. Cute, isn't it?!

I hurt my back yesterday...so sore! I went to get physio and accupuncture yesterday too and today. Ouchies man. I think this is a sign of me getting old to be hurting my back...from trying to put my pants on!!!
