yea, I totally heard horror stories about the "locals" out there.
I thought that was just in movies...lol
The people I'm going with are "locals" themselves, so I'm sure I won't have a problem.  I'm not exactly sure what beach or anything, I'm going with one of the artists' I work with, they live outside of L.A.

Whistler just broke the record for snowiest month in history.  Its soo sick up there right now.  I'm headed back up in a few hrs.  Doing my practicum for myself = best idea EVER!!
