so for the past little bit i've been raking in the cash. not a bad situation, but it's meant a lot of work. a lot of long hours, but lots of overtime pay. which is actually quite necessary because they've put the shifts i've been filling up for a permanent position... and there's no way in hell i'll be getting it. out of the three people that have applied, i have the least seniority. and in a system based on seniority, that blows. no matter that i need the hours and really enjoy the shift i have now... such is the nature of the beast i suppose. so this is my last week working a steady 40 hrs (before overtime), then it's back to 16 hrs on the weekend and on call otherwise.

 

other than that, i still love my job. the actual job part anyways... i'm starting to notice some silly politics around the house that kind of suck, but i guess that's pretty normal for any job!

 

recently one of my coworkers asked me to do a photoshoot for him. and no, not that kind, get your minds out of the gutter! the basic concept was to have me in front of a mountain of dirty dishes, accompanied by a box of exlax and a book on philosophy. here's what came of it:

 

 

so whistler's opening this weekend, and i'm so excited! the snow has finally arrived, even mt washington's looking decent. with luck i'll be heading up to whistler next week sometime for my first run of season. should be good! i even got an edge card so i could afford it a bit better... getting my snow tires put on tomorrow and then i'll be set. can't wait! winter's here folks!!!! bring on the snow!!!!!
