i love my new bed. i haven't slept this well in years! i'm waiting on a proper duvet cover from ikea (it's a king size duvet but you'd never know, would ya?) and then i'll be totally good to go. but man. is it bliss having a good bed finally!

 

 

saturday  night i went to a halloween party with my sister. ate so much chocolate i felt like i was a kid again going trick or treating. threw together a lisa simpson costume last minute, and went with my princess of a sister to the partay.

 

 

on the way out of the point, we heard the siren going at the fire hall. get to the top of the hill to find all three fire trucks on the scene of a rather minor accident. a car had somehow lost control on the one straight stretch of the road and hit a rock. not much damage that i could see, and the driver was already out of the car by the time we got there. as we pulled up the ambulance arrived, and seconds later two cop cars. must've been a slow night, we never get that kind of response in the boonies. i was having difficulty with my hair being too tall for my car (now i know what it feels like to be joe!), but i made it in one piece.

 

lucky for me, it was a pretty low key party. the highlight consisted of having a friend dressed as che hitting on me and telling me that he was happy because there were two of everyone at the party, and if i'd just excuse him for a moment so he could go barf in the sink. as if i don't get enough puke threats at work! anyways, after we got home, i discovered that my hair could stand up on its own. HOT.

 

 

watched jackass 2 last night, and i definitely haven't laughed that much in the theatre in ages! ice age 2 came damn close (when the hell is that one coming out to buy anyways?) but damn.... those kids are crazy.
