well, id say if you wanted to hook up with some good riders, should go check out edleweiss and camp fortune. im should you've been asking around alreay and have heard those names. if not, then ill just say there my best choices. and about getting there...im pretty much in your shoes. i only hook rides with my boyfriends dad lol. 
but they have bus rides to mount saint sarie...(not that good) but its like 40 - 45 bones. 
and they do trips to tremblant. but im not too sure about the prices. 
hope the info is good.
