March 31st, 2006

Chris Dufficy, IS Design and Absolute Poker have teamed up to create the shred poker tournament of the year. What's more is that the tournament is absolutely free to enter. Keep posted for details on how you can win a bunch of IS gear and a trailer load of cash MONEY!

Duffs on his way to the Team Challenge Monday. He's still recovering from knee surgery so it's more showing his team spirit than to get radical but don't count the radical out when it comes to Duff.

Steve on skates!

See y’all on the slopes,

The Office Boys!

For some reason Steve googled Jon Roth Today.

When he showed me his favorite result I just had to post it. This is probably Steve's best work of 2006.

Steezy falls off a roof with "steez" (haha.... ohhh!) in Sweetden at the "Tacky Rib Jam" .

He won best trick at the event. Yeah Mang!

A crew of office booyz where seen tearing up the Grouse park last night along side OB coach Chris Dufficy.

After a seriously deadly session the booyz enjoyed coldies and a 24 pack of jelly's.

Hey hat head!

This dude must of gotten made fun of so bad growing up or not??

Yeah yeah, contents hurting a little these days. Don't worry we'll get a Zeddy feature up soon.

The Biggest "Non Contest" of the year!

April 9th will give the working class of the snow and skate industry a chance to get its fat self away from the computer and up the mountain to get rad. Office Booyz "the contest" will be a day filled with coffee, donuts, BBQ'd meats, coldies and of course shredding. Contact Jeff at Grouse Mountain for details.

The other day I mentioned Tadashi's entourage and "BOOM",

Today I show them. The furious blog is all about giving extra value.

Transworlds "Senior photograper" Dice K was kind enough to send me some photo's. I will nowshare them with you and add little comments where I see fit.

Devun Walsh and Sean Kearns on the set of "That".

Tadashi and crew enjoying a wonderful day of snowmobiling.

Tadashi showing off his spread in the new IS catalog.

Dice K and Zizo mid way through a serious chicken eating contest.

Thanks for the fun with photo's Dice !

Kale & Sommers came by the office Today. They showed me a whole new line of Ahole gear. Be excited, a new commercial is in the works.

Rep of the day: Perry Pugh

Pmans known for his ability of falling asleep anywhere at anytime. Here Perry catches a couple Z's at one of the local watering holes up at Big White. We were having such a good time messing with him while he was passed out random strangers tried to join in on the fun. Don't worry Pman, we told them to beat it and get their own narcoleptic friend.

The Office Boys headed up to Big White for the weekend. Not much sleep went down so everyone snuck in fivers where ever they could.

Dionne's Extreme Animal calendar is coming along fantasticaly. This shot is definetely a contender for the month of April.

Its a little difficult to actually see the extreme animal in this small photo so here's some zoom action.

Look forward to I.S. Design Doggles in the near future.

Devs B-day highlights!

I'm pretty sure there was a little cake around all those candles?

Dionne tried to keep it classy with a glass of red wine when all he really had to do was apply a little sunscreen.

The night definitely got a little crazier than I thought it was gonna get thanks to the "Root" beer bong.

The Birthday boy in action!

After the "root" beer bong dance party Dev managed to take everyones money at poker.

The boss man made it till about 5am before he shut her down . A more than respectable performance. Can't wait for the next shaker at the Walsh's residence. I'll keep you posted!

Finally, he's back!

A big thanks goes out to everyone who helped make this happen. The furious blog is once again complete.

Shred news: Kale knocked himself out for the first time ever over the weekend while filming for the new Whiteout flick. I didn't even think that was possible? Front 10 knee to face basher was to blame. Sweet times!

Be sure to check back tomorrow for Devs Birthday highlights.

Rep of the day: Western Canada rep Ben Couves!

Ben almost killed me and Steve yesterday while playing hooky up at Grouse. Check out the clip to see for yourself.

Be advised the F word is used numerous times in the clip you're about to watch. Considering the circumstances I don't think its out of line. Maybe just a little un-classy.

the "Clip"

Thanks for all the hard work Couvey! Keep on trucking!

The Smoke Dogg was less than impressed when he received the FYI that me and Stevey were skipping out of work to shred some serious local mountain powder.

He wouldn't even talk to us until we gave him a plate of assorted deep fried meats. After that it was all good.

The Dogg decided to take Today off to get his spite shred on. It snowed another 20 cm's last night so it seemed like he made a good call. Around noon Today the sun was out in full force and I was probably feeling what the dogg felt yesterday. It wasn't sweet. Instead of imagining how good it was I decided to give the Dogg a call to see what I was missing out on. Turns out all I was missing out on was Smokie still sitting around at home figuring out how he was gonna get to the mountain. His plan sounded something like this "I'm just gonna jump on the sky train to Vancouver, take the sea bus to North Van then hitchhike up to Grouse. I'm not sure why but hearing that Smokie blew it made me feel a whole heck of a lot better about being stuck in the office.

Birthday Wishes!

Its the big boss mans birthday Today. That's right Devun Walsh turns the big T... ahhh, are snowboarders still lying about their age these days?? I better look into that before I spill the beans and get canned. Seriously though, age isn't really important anyway. What is important is the fact he made it through another year to celebrate another birthday.

Warning: Euroglimpse "the Movie" isn't very classy, infact it will most likely offend you. JF's in it and he loves offending people. On our Euro trip he kicked over a table full of drinks at our friends restaurant then called our sales manager a pre--Madonna the same night. So sorry in advance to anyone this video offends.

Happy Birthday Dev! Hope you enjoy the movie I made you!

Hey! Want some free I.S. gear??? Well, If you live in Ontario or better yet near Blue Mountain you may just be in luck. Go check out our Triple Chanllenge kick off party this Friday at Skool/Gel.

It's gonna be deadly! Woo hoo! Who knows, you may even run into the infamous Dave Cashen.

A big sorry goes out from I.S. Design and A hole "ninja masks" to anyone who was offended by the A hole commercial posted March 3rd 2006 in which Kale rhymed A hole with gay hole. As you can imagine not much though was put into the commercial. It was created from a 30 second clip of Kale and Sommers messing around after a long night of partying. I guarantee "gay hole" was just the first thing that Kale came up with that rhymed with A hole. Kale loves everyone. He also loves coming up with weird things to say. (what the hell is gay hole suppose to mean anyway??) Hope we didn't wreck anyones lives.

Last night was a pretty big night in Whistler. Kales Grandma Muriel celebrated her 86th B-day at Tapleys with an all star cast of ultimate shred doggs. Lets just say things got wild. One of the high lights before memories got fuzzy was the entire bar singing her happy birthday. What have you done for your Grandma lately? I couldn't get very good details from Kale this afternoon (2:30pm) when I talked to him on the phone. But to be fair he was still in bed.

Our reps are are men in the trenches, out in the cold busting their asses day in day out. Really making it happen for the whole I.S. Design team. This is way over due but here's our first "Rep of the day" Feature.

Rep of the day: New NorCal rep Chris Wilmoth!

"Thumbs up"!"Way up"! Thanks for all your hard work Chris. Keep on trucking!

I've been getting lots of meat e-mails ever since my Feb 27th post. The photo above comes in from Todd at S&J. Thanks for sharing your love of the other white meat...

DDman's Extreme Animal Calendar update: Looks like the DDman's E.A.C. is moving full steam ahead. Here's a little sneak preview/update from the DDman himself.

"This sharply toothed snake was caught at the summer cottage that J-man, K-man and D-man now own. We were having a couple coldies when we saw this bad boy trying to get at our coldie cooler, which is obviously protected by an electric fence. I'm thinking that this could be one of the summer months as our Cabin is quite deadly in the summer, perhaps May??? -DDman

Okay! As I promised, the "A" Hole commercial. If you don't know what I'm talking about check Kale's portion of "Thursdays Highlights" before you check out the link below.

Thursday highlights:

Wow, what a day. Tons of people came by to visit . We might of even broken a record. This would of never happened way out on Analsist Island. Good times, good times. Duff came by for lunch. This made it possible to have a doubles match on the fossball for the first time in months. It was me and Duff against Steve and Sayer. Me and Duff ten foured their asses. Then we went to Riddim and Spice. Delicious! "Alex" one of our Australian riders stopped by next to say "Good Day", then the Hore "the young man on the cover of the April issue of TWS snow"

stopped in for a high five and some shades. I proceeded to give him a hard time for not having any visible IS logo's in his first ever cover shot. Soon after, Kenta and JTP (Jack the pug) stopped by for a quick meeting. I showed them "Euroglimps the Movie (I'll be posting it tomorrow) which they both really enjoyed so you know its good. Last but not least Kale, Sommers, Kales mom and grandma stopped by. Kale (fresh from his apple pie & ice cream breakfast) walks in at about 3pm with a mexican wrestling mask on, a bottle of wine in one hand and a vanilla latte in the other.

The mexican wrestling masks turned out to be a new head/face wear company Kale started called "A hole AKA Air hole". I'll be post their "A Hole" commercial Tomorrow. Trust me, you don't want to miss it.

This is Devun:

He didn't just recently get his hair cut. But you know who did?? Alex Auchu and according to Dionne "he looks like a little school boy".

Gotta go!

Feb 27th, 2006

This doesn't happen offten but we have a guest post Today. It comes in from former I.S. office boy "Jarrod White".

"So I am sitting here at work lately just thinking & I really have started to realize that life is all about the little things. I think from now on I am going to pay more attention to things that give me pleasure & savour those moments.

Today I will focus on meat…… but not any old meat. Today I will focus on a meat that tastes so good people couldn't wait till dinner to eat it so they started eating it for breakfast. Ahh bacon. To celebrate my love for bacon I decided to eat a man sized bacon sandwich for lunch. Here's how it went.

I didn't want anything messing with the bacon taste so i only used the two ingredients above.

My trusty skillet was brought out for this event and the cooking began:

I ended up only using 22 slices, which is about a pound and a quarter of bacon. I chose the low-sodium variety for its health benefits.

After much cooking and draining, the slices looked like this:

Extreme care was taken in the creation of this sandwich, starting with a strong foundation which could bear the load of the delicious bacon. After consulting with local architects, the sandwich was carefully constructed:

Luckily the top stayed on and didn't compromise the structural integrity of the "Ultimate Bacon Sandwich". The delightful aroma was enough to throw off the auto-focus on my camera.

Halfway through, disaster strikes! There appears to be a breach of the main hull! I feared I was losing her!

Luckily there was plenty of bread left; the reconstruction efforts quickly began. The bread graft was successful and held up until the very end:

I feel slightly light headed and have had about 6 glasses of water after finishing the sandwich. This is something I don't think I'll ever try again however Smokie if you are reading this please do not let this discourage you as it was DELISCIOUS!" -Jarrod White
