hold your pants up

Today I thought about... when did belt take such a big lead of suspenders in the "holding your pants up" business, and then shoe lace just came out of nowhere and is giving belt a run for it money. And shoe lace pretty much dominates the "keeping your shoes on" business, i mean velcro isn`t even close. So imagine if shoe lace dominated both worlds... it could happen man.
