so yah, i went to tennessee with mossy which was super fun, sarah and lindsay are really cool too. i hung out with lindsay a lot on the sea doo cuz shes 16. and yeahh funn, his house there is really nice. like a couple days before that i went to ryans party which was superrrr tight cuz mass people were there, and daniel was i hadnt seen him in forever. and horray garrick and kara are back togetherr!! hah yeah and wen i got home from tennessee i jut chilled and me and liz went to kenwood the other day and saw dre and shannon, there cool that was fun. and then last nite we walked to hyde park cuz we were gonna get on the computers because my rents put a mf password on itttt!! but ya it was closed so we got ice cream and saw sara n karaa!! oh yeah like the day i got home from camp cara allie n i went to phias, funnnnn =]]

i guess ill start with wed.
liz came overr and after we ate dinner we went to the park and there
was some bike race haha, but yeah we just chilled and ate some
tortillas. and then went home and thursday well hah we ate tortillas
and went to the pool and wow hmm connor was there! [yeah] and we were
there till 7! mass long but mass fun. and fridayyy well my mom was
super pissed about the D in math so she sent me to the pool for 4
hours, but its okay i just layed out the whole time and theres always
some1 i know there. and today i went to the pool yet again with my papa
[my rents arent mad anymore =) horray because it was bout to be bad. i
did get my fone taken tho] and yeah ive just been chillin.
ilovesummer so much!!!
i leave for camp kern [quest] tomorrow, horray only a week tho.

thursday we had the steel drum spring preformance it was okay, pretty
boring tho. then i had gymnastics [my last..( ] and then we had to pick
up my mamas car and we went to temple to meet with rabbi to talk about
my confirmation . that was the day the electrical storm hit... and
friday after school allie ted and cj came over n we chilled and kinda
watched in the mix haha, and then we went to newport and there were
mass ppl there like last time. me and allie went to the da vinci code
but it was bloody so we left n watched x men 3 cuz thats where some
other ppl were. and we were bored so we just sat outside and talked to
antonio. haha i love that kid. and allie spent the nite and then sat we
went to the sports club and tanned, a lot. and i got in the tanning
beddd! annnnnd then her dada picked us up and we went back there and
chilled a lil and ryan wasnt having a party so we just went to chalzs
and ian was there haha funfun. and sunday i didnt really do much i
played tennis in the morning and then at like 7 i went to taste of
cincinnati and chilled with allie and cara [amy] which was funnn. today
i spose im studying blah..

i rode the bus to mariahs with chlaz stef shayna katelyn connor klub
zane liz. yeah i think thats it and we chilled then walked to chalzs
and ate pizza and chilled in the loft and jumped on the tramp. then we
went to newport and there was orion sean reed mossy. and we saw cat n
peaches. wow there were a lot of people. oh yeah and carly garrick and
kara. sorry if i forgot anyone! and me connor mariah liz katelyn and
steff went n saw just my luck and everyone else saw over the hedge
haha. yeah it was funfunfun <33 and then saturday and sunday i went
up to indiana for logans confirmation which was pretty fun cuz i got to
see hayley n logan. we got indian food n ritters pah i love ritters.. =)

awl hes so cute. i love him a lot. but yeah the week was pretty boring for the
most part, as usual. i cannot wait till this year is over but yet i still dont

code friday. yay that will be funn. friday i went to caitlins with steff cara
and phia and we rented movies n stuff had a lot of funn =]=] yeah at
like 1 am david adam matt and joey came over for a lil. then saturday i chilled
with molly n dylan and a starr picked me up and we went up to denison for sams
graduation. awll my big brothers growing up haha

blah yesterday we had
our cinco de mayo party hah that was fun. and after school me steff n baily went
to lizs house and we at tortillas a lot and we tried so hard to go to justins
but ugh her mom was like ahhh. and so we couldnt =( and i was really pissed we
didnt. aaahh but yeah i was really super sick yesterday and we got some orange
flavored alcaselser and i mixed it with red bull n drank it but i couldnt taste
or smell anything. still cant =/ and i went to seths bar mitzvah this morning
and 2nite me allie n cara r goin to his party which should b funnn.

on saturday me connor
carly mariah allie monty and jessica and some other girl i dont member her name
went and saw stick it and the whole hyde park gym team was there haha and me n
allie did flips in the back hallway, fun. and connor kept undoing my belt =) hah
hes cuutee. but yah yesterday pretty much sucked. i have a d in math tears. then
spanish we made godseyes and im a retard cuz it took me forever to figure out
haha and then english and F omg i was flipping out but now i have an A =) it was
cuz of my stupid compare/contrast essay. and well gym blahblah dont even care
anymore foreal. and i stayed after to talk to mrs murrell and allie and cara and
ashley stayed to and we just chilled after. and today i walked down to udf with
connor and reed and ashton and i had to go to tennis which sucked hard cuz ppl
werent there so it wasnt fun =/ my throat hurts really baddd!

havent written in here all week. pah anyways the week was boring except
for i think it was wendsday wen we made lotion and ted spilled our
stuff before we could add water to actually make it lotion so me n
shayna put water on the table n made our own lotion hah, and thursday-
ted n ashley go out! =]

talked to julia and she chilled in clifton last weekend wen she was in
town n met sarah u. n jimmy and she nos like mass ppl i do! its crazyy.
yesterday some of the band ppl stayed at school cuz we werent gonna get
community service for goin early so we just didnt, we went at 4, me
carly mariah katie n reed and ya that was cool, hah it was fun messin
with people. and blah at like 11 bruce asked me n my mom to go back to
clark and help unload the truck so we did, ugh i was so tired.

the rest of the week was pretty boring, then friday cara n i walked to udf in the rain and got wet and we saw amira there, and cara saw some guy she new from camp. woah small world. then later caitlin came over and we chilled and got pizza. that night was funfunfun hah we jumped on the trampoline this morning and they left round like 12, 1? id really no. and i had to do some stuff and me and aunt starr went out for a bit and right now im chillin at her house, shes walkin her dogs but katrina's mama (her friend) is outside with marsha (her roomate person) is outside cryin cuz her mum is sick. i feel really bad for her.

today
is easter. i gotta basket thing with candy n gift certifigates in it
but since were sorta jewish now we dont like do as much anymore.
thursday nite we had our passover ceader which was tight cuz i got $10
and then friday was kinda boring we had a sub in math and then molly n
sams friends all came over that nite and chilled then liz came over and
we went upstairs n ate tortillas. hah we fell asleep kinda fast but
yeah. and then sat was cjs party cara allie mossy orion n jess were
there we just watched dick and jane then sat on the porch and we got in
the hot tub but it was really hot cuz it was hot outside too but it was
fun. and we ate pizza then we had to go at like 730. ya im really
really bored now... call if u wana chill today
this
week has been mostly boring but 2morrow =]=] ali is gonna pierce my
cartalidge and then after school i hope im goin to manthas w/ cara n
caitlin if everything goes good, and that will deff be funnn! and then
sat is cjs party and were goin to newport, cara is just gonna hide her
face or somethin hah. my sunburn is all tan now, good hah but i have a
farmers tan, o welllll. caitlin joined tennis =] hah shes pretty good
too like me n caras level which is low but good for never playin b4.
ill proly get my phone taken 2morrow cuz i had a C in math from 3rd
quarterrr. and jo gave us a D on our scrapbook! whata bitch, it was cuz
we used a lighter and sat on the statue and in the canoe and apparently
we werent supposed to. we rote on the back that she was grading our
scrap book not our leadershippp. but i got a B overall.

yesterday
i wrote my spanish paper and went and saw she's the man with my dad
hah, o well it was fun. and we got chipotle for dinner and today we
went to the reds game which was pretty tight we played pittsburg but
lost 5 to 3. there were mass fat ppl in our section hah, yeah my dad
was the one to point that out not me. i got a farmers tan =( o well its
some color. and we saw the frankies as we were leaving. i can't wait
till 2morrow =]=] yay haha i think me n cara are the only ones excited
about it, blah oh well hah

Maria Full of Grace Paper
We watched a movie entitled Maria Full of Grace. It is about a
young girl who is living in a small town in Colombia. She first works
as a rose cutter. Maria live with her sister, her mother and her
sister’s baby. Maria starts off with a boyfriend, they are having
un-protected sex and Maria ends up getting pregnant. One of her fears
is she doesn’t want to end up like her sister, living with just the
baby and her family. No father. So she try’s to talk to her boyfriend
about staying with her and her baby. He doesn’t like this idea. Then at
her job she kept requesting to go to the bathroom because she was sick
and her boss granted permission the first few times then started saying
no. So she got sick on the flowers and he got mad. Maria didn’t like
the way he treated her so she quit. Maria was the only source of income
for her small broken family. And then with her being pregnant she
needed to find work. She went to a dance with some of her friends one
night and met a guy, he treated her much better than her own boyfriend.
He was the one who introduced her to this job.
He told her the job paid very well so she agreed to check it out
because she needed money so desperately. He takes her to this bar and
she sees a women about her age walking out of this mans office. Maria
was next so she stepping in and the man started asking her questions
about her age, family and the condition her stomach is in. She told him
she was eighteen but really she is seventeen but she feared her would
turn her down because she may have been too young. She also tells the
man that her stomach is in perfect condition which is not true because
she was pregnant. Her best friend finds out that Maria got this job so
she decided to be a mule as well for whatever reason. When they arrived
in New York a women they were with was caught and so was Maria but they
had no proof because they couldn’t give her an x-ray because of her
pregnancy. It turns out she is working with the women she saw walk out
of the office and her name is Lucy. On their trip to New York (where
Lucy’s sister lives) a pellet bursts in Lucy’s stomach and she dies.
Maria and her friend go and stay with Lucy’s sister. In the end her
friend goes back to Mexico but Maria decides last minute to stay and
raise her son in the United States.
These types of stories happen in real life more than you may
expect. I found a story about a women named “Porota”.

name, the article said they couldn’t release it for fear of her safety.
She has three children who live in Columbia with a very strict uncle.
Porota was caught because the man she was traveling with was caught
lying about never being to the UK. He was asking for places to stay and
when they searched him they found an address so they knew he was not
here on vacation. Since Porota was with him she was searched too, not
only did she have pellets in her stomach but had hidden some in her
vagina, this is how she was discovered.
She is now serving eight years in prison and as of Thursday June
eighth in year 2000 she was serving her fifth year. So now she is out
and back in Colombia with her children. But in this interview she said
that if she could turn back the clock she would and make the decision
to find money some other way. She hated not being able to speak to her
children, she said that she only spoke to them three times in four
years and fears they think she abandoned them. They already did not
have a father so Porota was playing the roll of mother and father. Her
children thought she was working in England. But now they know the
truth because she told them as soon as she arrived home. The reason she
carried the drugs was because she wanted her children to have a better
life than she did, she didn’t want them to suffer as much hardship as
she did. They never asked for that life it was just the life she wanted
for them.
Porota’s story is a lot like Maria’s. Porota wanted a better life
for her kids and Maria wanted to provide that kind of life for the
family she had and then the child she was going to have. Maria was not
caught unlike Porota but she would have been if she wasn’t pregnant.
Also Porota was traveling with other people who were also mules and so
was Maria. She was with three other women, one of which got caught and
the other died and the remaining one was her best friend. Porota said
that she regretted the decision she made about becoming a drug mule and
if she could go back in time she wouldn’t have made the same choice.
Because of what it put her children through. I think Maria regretted
her decision as well because she decided to stay in the United States.
I imagine that she planned to have and raise her baby there. She made
an appointment at a doctor’s office there to get a sonar thing. So
obviously she wasn’t going back to Colombia so therefore she wasn’t
going to travel with drugs again.
One thing that Porota and Maria have in common is the people they
were working with both promised that they wouldn’t get caught and they
were ready to do this. They made the girls feel confident nothing would
go wrong and were very comforting. Of corse they were going to be
though. If they weren’t the girls would probably just quit right then
because if the employee doesn’t feel confident in the job then they
would not act confident and most likely get caught. Porota said that
the person she was working for made her practice by swallowing grapes
and things as big as that. In the movie we saw Maria try and swallow
grapes as well. She had great difficulty with it, she kept on gagging
and spitting it back out. I didn’t think she was going to be able to do
it. But then when it came to actually having to swallow fifty or sixty
pills she did it. They guys also helped her like they soaked the
pellets in wax (as a coat for it to go down smoother and so their
stomach acids wouldn’t tear it up) and they sprayed her throat with
something to numb it I think. Overall Maria regretted her decision and
stayed in America and Porota definitely regretted it because she spent
eight years in prison and couldn’t see her kids.
yesterday
i went over to lizs n we chilled then me her n her dad went to climb
time but the lady was like u need a thing signed but my dad so we went
to skyline and mr erhardt forged it, it was cool tho he made me call my
dad n ask him haha, my dad was like yes he can forge my signiture. and
that was fun then we went home and then went to ryans. only garrick me
liz n ryan were there but it was still fun. we went outside like at 10
and they were freakin out about some girl at the end of the sidewalk,
me n liz ate tortillas, we didnt see her so we just walked back and sat
on the porch. garrick put his gum in the fire hah dumb. garrick helped
me figure out bluetooth and we were sendin eachother songs n stuff. its
tight. and i spent the night at lizs which is always funnn. my dad
wants to chill with me today so idk what were gonna do yet.

tuesday at like 12 we went to pick up allie, cara caitlin and kayla
were all still there so we talked to them for a lil and allie n cara
got a new puppy n hes soso cute! and then me allie and my mom left and
went to indianapolis, first wen we got there we went shopping and i got
some shorts at hollister and allie got a bathing suit then we went
swimming. our hotel was connected to a giant mall it was tight. and we
went to pf chengs for dinner and we had left overs we ate the next day
4 lunch. on wed my mom made us go to this native american museum but
let us leave early while she stayed so we went and got our nails done
and shopped then went back to the hotel and ate and watched the maury
show haha, then after that we went and shopped again and my mom got me
some stuff and then we went and saw the shaggy dog hah it was like the
only thing playing then went back swam chilled went shopping again,
went to gameworks and played ddr =] then went to the hard rock cafe.
and today we shopped and then left and had skyline for lunch.then i had
gymnastics today, i did a back hand spring back tuck on tramp and a
front flip on floor =]
i think ryans havin ppl over tonite but im too tired to go blah so ima chill

so we were supposed to go to chicago today but my mom doesnt wana drive
into chicago alone so were goin 2morrow with my aunt. that means ill
get to see mariah ! =] sunday i didnt do anything really i went to the
art museum cuz im cool like that ha, and then we went to sake bomb for
dinner its a sea food place ew i hated it i had noodles. our waitriss
was cute tho. we went for mollys bday and i was gona drive home but my
mom said no cuz it was raining really hard. and today at like 4 im goin
to kenwood with allie cara caitlin n maybe shayna =] hah itll b fun

thursday me allie mariah ian kalub and shayna went to charles and
mariah cut his hair! omg its like half an inch it looks so so good!!
and we watched chicken little for a bit with his sister hah and we
spent a lot of time on the trampoline and in the barn shed thing but
its mass tight cuz of all the black lights n stuff and ya. then allie
spent the nite and fri we met shayna at kenwood n that was fun and we
saw ice age 2 there hah it was cute tho. and they came over to my house
and we got larosas but shayna couldnt stay but allie spent the night
again and today we were just chillin and we took her home at like 2 and
my mom n i went to skyline and to get my sisters bday present for
2morrow.
