I won't be able to make it down to the GLC premiere, nor the Alterna premiere, nor any other premiere for that matter, so you better party it up for me!

I'm sad...

Well, since I'm not gonna make it to the Vancouver showing of the GLC movie, I decided that I would pack 2 nights into 1, and fully went to town.  Drank way too much, and now I'm paying for it.
Go see the movie, and my slideshow, on Monday Oct. 1st at The Buffalo Club in Vancouver.  I'll post the poster whenever Shapiro stops being lazy and sends me the file.

For all you who live in the wonderful village, that is of Whistler, can I crash at your place?

Last blog for the next little while, too much shi*t on the go.
If you haven't head of DandG podcast, seriously get on it.  There's some funny shi*t on there.  Beardmore and Trav make a piss-yourself funny combo.
As for my life?  Shooting film like there's no tomorrow.  Developing every chance I get and pretty much going to town on this thing they call B&W photography.  I'll try and scan in some prints one of these days, but for now whatever.
Snow's on it's way, season's coming, chill...

Even though this photo was taken in Tahoe, it's got some relation to how many squirrels there are in Victoria.  DUDE!  You actually have no idea!  It's f*cking gnarly.

So two great things happend today.  I developed my first roll of film, and it snowed in Whistler.  I love life.

(Well that didn't take long.  Sorry guys, had to take the Jon Cartwright photo down for some good reasons ...)

Well there's not much to say today except that I found a folder with all these sunset photos on my computer the other day.  After spending a while cleaning up all the dust marks (they show real easy in this kind of light) I found some pretty cool looking shots.  Here's one to keep you going through the premiere season, you lucky bastards.
On the school front, I develop my first roll of film the old fashioned way tomorrow for the first time.  I'm pretty excited to see how I'm going to f*ck this one up.  Surprisingly, it's a f*cking easy process, just has to be extremely exact.
I think I'm going to start mentioning names for the photos now, because apparantly some people want to know.  You can click "see recent posts" and check out all my older blogs.  Everyone's name will be up there too, for the most part.

So with all this newfound time on my hands, I've decided to change up my watermark.  Less shi*t all over the photo, maybe a bit of a border, and a contact thing instead.
Along with this new watermark came a better and more improved security methods, and you better not steal my photos because, like some people, you'll pay a lot more than you planned.

So I officially started school on Wednesday.  Looks to be a great and promising year, but it also looks like my life as a snowboarder is going to be put on the backburner for a while.  Seriously, if I get more than 10 days in where I'm actually riding a snowboard and not shooting people, I will be the happiest person alive.
Which brings me to my next point, as we're talking about snowboarding and shooting.  Don't you dare forget to check out all the premieres in town.  Because I suck at life, apparantly, and I won't be able to attend anymore this year.  Yup, no premieres for that tall kid.  f*ck life sucks right now.
But let's go to a lighter note.  I will be back in Vancouver a bit in the winter, and I will be able to shoot some shi*t again, but it'll be work mode.  So the people who know who they are, better kick into work mode when I'm back because there ain't gonna be f*cking around this time.

I'm a bit bitter right now...

While still on my rampant investigation on how to aquire the wonderful thing called "internet" in my home, I found myself poaching at my new school.  While poaching, I came to realize how useless I am at life without the internet.  I seriuosly have no idea how to get a map of a place or anything.  So my stay in Victoria has been quite the mind boggling experience.
I was supposed to go surfing next weekend but I quickly came to realize how much shi*t I really have to buy.  100 rolls of this, 100 rolls of that; I am begining to really miss my digi.  Oh ya, this brings me to my next point.  From now until December, I am not going to pick up my digi SLR.  Yup, you read it right.  100% film BITCHES!
Oh ya, go check out the new snowboard.com magazine.  It's pimp shi*t folks.  I have 4 shots and a mini article in there.  Lets see who can find all 4.  The 4th one is tricky.  I'll buy you a beer if you can be the first to find it, maybe.  Shapiro, you don't count.
