Aaron M. Shapiro and Andrew M. Skelhorn
Well, life was gnarly this past weekend. shi*t went down and I ended up with a slew of shi*tty photos, partly due to my moronic decision to NOT bring my chargers, and tripods. Ya, please punch me now. Grouse was some f*cked up pow. Too deep I didn't know what to do with it. I mean, I was chest deep in so much white stuff I couldn't turn properly. This blog is rushed so whatever. I'll have more next time. Oh ya, Shap and Skelhorn have the same initials. Weird eh?

Brian Tancredi (And I hate scanners)
Today is a f*cking great day (so far). I just got some wicked ass news that definetly gave me some stoke. I can't tell you what it is, but you'll find out this season for sure. Here's you're only hint - SBC. I also just found out I've got some shots in a f*cking sick book called "Addicted To Snow" that was recently published out of Germany. It's a book with some of the best photos from the past 5 years in Snowboarding. I suggest you check it out and get stoked like I did.

Bottled up, breaking
free, and wandering alone; these last few days spent in Whistler summed it all
up. Crouching over the fireplace with jerry rigged chop sticks for our marshmallow,
driving aimlessly searching for what isn't there, and falling asleep to the new
park city movie that came with Future were definitely the parts of my life that
I miss.
This quick indulgence to the snowboarding culture that I was fortunate enough
to enjoy really set a new mood to my everyday life. I've found myself
enjoying every breath and every step I take to school as I reminisce on the
past few days. I couldn't have asked for a better vacation/work weekend.

 Rider: Aaron Shapiro
With all the things going on right now, I find myself really missing Vancouver. There's just one core element and culture missing in this city that I can't live with - snowboarding. Sure there are a couple "snowboarders" here but it's just not the same. The "snowboarders" here are on the mountain maybe 15 days a season max and their "passion" lies therein. But as I lement on the first year I broke 100 days at Grouse, I also remember the years I couldn't make it up more than 15 times (mainly just the 1st year). So, I feel sorry for these people. They do have the same "passion" as I do for snowboarding, but the other element is missing. The culture and lifestyle that comes with it just isn't here. It's like they snowboard, but their not snowboarders. Well, I'm not going to leave on a sad note,; I'm actually going to leave on a stoked note. If you happen to be browsing through some of the recent magazines, check out the new issue (issue 3) of Future Snowboarding and find my first double page spread. Yup, I'm f*cking stoked. Dano's wicked and I love life.
