i dont know why i always look down like that every time i slide frontside... everyone else twists their upper bodies. i'm just like .... yeah i like flying backwards. ..anyone else do this?? i look back under my arm. good? bad? does it matter??

it's hard for me to be sure. one second I see the rail, then my board, then the clouds in the sky... before it gets all mixed up into one.
I don't think it really matters how you look behind. you'll probably eventually be able to twist around anyway. just imagine your posing for playboy haha.

I do the same thing. Sometimes it bothers me but it's definitely more styled. It's a major problem some times....with big bs spins I don't spot my landing and end up just hoping i land right. my front boards are the same way though....i look right in front of me and honestly don't even look at where i'm landing lol but i seem to land most of them

I look straight down at my feet too when I slide fs.  Look at it this way though, it's less common so you have a more distinct slide.  It's also easier to come out switch from, and we all know that fs to fakie is way sweeter.  Also, it looks like you're pretty close to being able to do a 270 out of that.
