check out this band:

"We are fivelastwords, an emo-punk band from the Netherlands. Our style of music isn't just that, but we'll play whatever the hell we want, so we're not gonna try to explain it at all. We are just getting started, so we don't have too much to tell right now, but we are busy rehearsing and writing songs, so we can come and kick your ass somewhere in 2006. For now, just some teaser songs we haven't completely worked out yet - you may notice there are no vocals and the drums are fake. In a short while we will have new and improved recordings with some brilliant vocals, we will let you know when the time is there!!!"

My band.  This is from a while ago... I might just upload and make a DVD of us.  This was our first Original.

That was our first gig.  We're much, much more active now.  I can barely stand to watch that, cuz we just stand there.  It's nice to listen to, but man...

the drummer for both is one of my housemates. actually, the house is the jam house. go figure.

http://www.myspace.com/thelasttroubadourband I knew these guys when I was in high school... I'm still friends with the bassist... when they first got together they weren't that great but they've really come a long way in the last few years... their material is all original, they don't do covers... they're a great band

Hail The Villain, just recently signed to roadrunner records.

http://www.myspace.com/hailthevillain

Of course, everything starts with the music. The tracks on Population: Declining, HTV’s debut record, stand on their own. From the first single, “Take Back the Fear” and the screw-everyone-I’ve-had-a-REALLY-bad-day approach of “Pyro” to the riff-y guitars on “Runaway” and “Evil Has a Name,” this is a intricate and angry piece of rock’n’roll.
