Yeah the snow formations on those rocks from the wind were pretty cool looking...very 'optically' interesting. That whole peak was pretty wind blasted.

That second shot is the two guys hiking *out* of that bench. The tracks below them is where they went down and looked around a bit. They down climbed to look around and then decided the snow was glazed ice and didn't want to ride the chute...which spooked me off of it to some degree since the chute I ridden the day before was glazed ice and steep...so, while I knew the snow would be bunk in the chute, I wasn't sure what the chute did and then them talking about 'really long slides if you miss a turn' didn't help my pschye...so I just erred on the cautious side. Always good to do...until I got a better view and figured it would have been fine. That's what I get for listeneing to folks that don't normally ride that sort of terrain to begin with...no biggie.

The second guy, lower fellow, was fresh off his nationals win in three categories of the Masters Men's National Nordic Championships or something like that (30+ category I beleive) in Bend I beleive...he was insane to hike with...I swear I don't think I ever saw him break a sweat or breathing hard....even while he was breaking trail...next to everyone in a line...so he could talk to people. A trail breaking, x-country Monster.

Oh I HATE those mutant super lung freaks in the bc.  I have a touring buddy I go out with two or three times a year.  He enters every rando race in Colorado.  The dude lives in Gunnison, will get off of work at 4, drive up to Crested Butte, and knock off 3000 vert up and down in 2 hours.  Sicko...

Yeah...this guy was the same. Quietly mentioned how he just got done with some 'race'...which is why he was a day late coming into the yurts...the 'race' just happened to be x-country nationals and he won the three divisions he entered for the 30+ age group. Classic, Skate and some other version I think. Maybe it was a distance thing...I forget. He was tall, lean, leggy and all lung. Man. There I am with my heavy scarpa denali's, heavy split board, and generally carrying way more then I needed each day...while he happily strolls along next to me in his Dynafit tour lite's...not even breaking a sweat. Super nice guy though...despite me wanting to kill him and steal his lungs.

As far as all the previous TR's go.. there are a ton of really god pictures, but for some reason this is one that I think is pretty cool looking, and really sticks out...  Any input on how this effect was acheived?

Tele babes are the hottest things on the mountain? You should see my local hill then...there's little earth muffin's rockin the free heals all over the place. I prefer the alpiners...at least they RIP.

(note: I know plenty of tele babes that *rip* as well...some would make you crawl across the floor to drink beer out of their boots Ale. And after a watching them ride...you'd do it...happily.)

Hahaha.. I am guessing 'earth muffin' isn't a flattering term. BUt yeah, I think the drinking out of the boots might depend more on the beer then the babe. But for the right ripper, I'll even drink a PBR from her booots.

SPeaking of the devil.. A picture of a tele babe with me in the back gorund. Ok, I am pretty sure she is taken too. I am also pretty sure she ment to use that tree to stop herself.
