is there a reason creeks site says their base is 36-42 inches? we all know that is complete BS. how would it be that they have a deeper base than mount snow? oh it wouldnt because it's not possible considering how little they blew compared to MS this season. man those people just LIE, another reason why i continue to hate creek. thank god for that MS pass.

Some hit video from this weekend. Creek was very mellow for crowds on Sat. Today Sun was ok but got busy quicker.

Adam Telimark Kamikaze Hit

Adam Teli Flying Fox hits

Redtail Hits

Bakersfield Park

Unknown Dude Kamikaze Hit  - Anyone know who this is?

Unknown Dude Redtail hits - Anyone know this guy? He throws back flips off the Flyfox hits.

Blackout date for me at Stratton this weekend but had a great time at Creek. Back to Vermont next weekend but will be riding Creek weeknights.

lmfao, i know, the forums on the mountain site are active, but hte park crew is far less than that. They really slacked off this year. It seems like every year it gets a little worse. You can see it in the number of contests and who are the main sponsors of those contests. They used to have a legit company come in there every month with a banger contest...High cascade, red bull, K2,...now what do they have...retarded ass red bull butter cup which was by far the wrost comp ive ever seen...not ot mention the waste of snow making they had to put on to make it happen.

lol more like RIP mid-atlantic riding. I think every resort besides Camelback and Blue Mountain sucked ass this year, despite really cold temps. JFBB wasnt worth the gas to drive to, never mind the lift ticket, Shawnee was terrible as always, and everything else fell somewhere in between the suckiness of both. Looks like VT only riding for my east coast time for me, unless Im teaching newbies.

hell, thats a no-brainer if you can get up there. I got delayed with my VT plans this year, mostly cuz I got hooked up. Spending my time on the bunny slopes teaching my girl to ride. Getting her hooked on it so I don't have to feel guilty about riding all winter long haha

lol teaching is the worst. i've been out to creek like 5 times this year. granted it is because i got hurt and was out for a month. i'm really not sure about a pass next year though.

Conditions on Wednesday were great. Im going up in a little bit, but I hear its very wet and slushy =/

Anyone else hear about aaron chase hitting the jump line on a MOUNTAIN BIKE?! I talked to one of the marketing kids up at creek and he said yesterday morning aaron chase was comin to creek with the redbull crew and he was going to hit the two bigger jumps at the top of south (the ones only open during the day) then the triple jump line at the bottom. Hes got some fucking balls. The landings on those are sketchy enough on a snowboard let alone coming down on a mountian bike. If anyone saw him, howd it go?

i dont think those landings are sketchy at all, as long as you hit the jumps with the right speed ;).   after 3 or 4 runs you get it dialed and then its no problem.

on a mountainbike, however, who knows i dont ride bikes anymore but i'd imagine some gnarly wobble coming down the landings, but i'm sure the guy has done that elsewhere before.

Anyway i think those jumps were built really well.  Now that the mtn is deteriorating that's another story, the landings on the top 2 have lost a lot of volume, I havent hit them in a couple weeks, anyone else?

Hey does anyone have photos/videos from the 80's pipe jam?  it was totally guh-narly dudes!!!

Only way Im getting a season pass this year is if its through the shop again, granted Im working there again this season. Otherwise, riding will be limited to a few weekends in VT.

Well, what's it gonna be?  Are you working at the shop again?  Are you getting a pass to Creek?  Will I be riding alone?

So Creek raised the all access pass price to $299 this season. 5x7 looks to be the same price as last season. $199
I think I paid like $269 last season so $30 spike in price.
Bummer.

^^^Back in April, Creek emailed me an offer to purchase my season pass for 09/10 for $269.  Looks like I beat the price increase!

As it stands, it doesn't look like I'll be getting any kind of season pass from MC. Might be limiting my snowboarding to a few trips to Vermont this year

At least get a Triple Play card or two.  Don't make me ride alone!  This could just be my last season!
