About them almost not having the cash to open this season. They have only just committed to selling season passes. Have been making cutbacks, initially he go was that there would be no pipe or big jump line this year. Sounds like they have managed to trim their costs in other areas now, so time will tell.
Only holding 4 comps this year, as competetions were losing them money...
Burton putting money in? Haven't heard that yarn, dunno if I believe it since they have moved the open to Cardrona (Snowpark can't afford to enlarge their pipe).

I had a pretty good season, instructing part-time, @ Whakapapa, again. Got back into skiing last year, as well, & am enjoying a pair of K2 Public Enemy twin tips. Hopefully will be doing some L1 ski instructing, next season...
How was everyone elses' season?

Just posting for my yearly check in...
Only got to ride a couple of weekends this aussie season but last year went to Mammoth, Banff.
Planning another trip to Utah or maybe Tahoe next year.
