Hey, I was just curious if Whistler is a good mountain to live at or would you recommend another mountain in bc based on the things im looking for. Basically Im looking for the biggest park possible while at the same time I want to ride steep hills and good pow so im not just a park junkie. As well, Im not a fan of lift lines so I was just wondering how lift lines are at whistler, mainly during the week. Any Advise appreciated.

i have only lived in whistler so no other comparisons on living at other resorts. the terrain is huge. during the week the lineups are almost non existent. on the weekends, especially long weekends the lineups are much bigger. if there is heavy snowfall and the tops of the mountains are closed for avi control then the line ups are massive because every one is stuck riding 2 chairs down below. i don't ride park much but there are a several parks of varying abilities. this season the olympics are on and im not sure how easy it will be to get accomodations, thats always a problem in whistler.

squamish or pemberton are about 50km away. squamish is half way between vancouver and whistler, pemberton is north of whistler.
