What kind of government is the US?

It's supposed to be a federal republic....not democratic, not socialist, not a republic, not a federation, not a kingdom, and certainly not secular.

Now? who knows? Most of us have taken the blue pill long ago and just go with the flow. I think we're heading toward if not already in a "corporatocracy" if that word even exists. Seems our (s)elected officials are more concerned with the well being of the corporations that fund their campaigns than the actual people they pretend to represent. Corporations are now being tapped for advice on how to write public policy that would otherwise regulate and oversee their activities.
