Hey guys,

as you can understand from the title, my second toe is longer than the big one, on both feet.
As a result, my second toe is always getting crushed while riding and I end up with a burple toe nail
that ends up falling off.

I've had 32 and Salomon boots, and the same problem in both.
Heat molding didn't help.

Any specific brands I should look at, or is it just about somehow custom fitting them?

Thanks

Jon

You have to heat mold with a toe cap put over your foot then a sock pulled over that. If that doesn't work pull the liner out and make a slit on each side of the bigger toe this will let the liner bow out more and compensate for the bigger toe.
f*ck the rest die like the Best!

^^^ The second toe on my feet is longer as well and the above stuff worked for me ... I personally like Nitro boots, but that's because I have SUPER skinny ankles (may not work for you).

I also have this issue w/ the toes.  The best thing I've found is the nitro anthem, el actually gave me advice toward getting these boots and how to mold them early last year. and it worked great.  also the burton sabbath has a larger toe box and seemed to mold out enough to not push on my second toe either, these are the only two boots I've found over the last 6-7 years ( probably 10-11 pair) that don't feel like thy are smashing my 2nd toe
