As much as I hate to admit it my Solomans' from 2002 saw their last season as my primary boots, even with 2 sets of walmart insolves(and daily duct tape) they still couldn't keep my heel from slipping all over the place last season.

So time(ok WAY past time) for some new boots to fit my new K2 Autoevers, I wanted the matching K2 T1 boa boots but don't have 300$ to be picky about new boots right now.

So as usaul steep and cheap here we go

Picked up these DC Methvin's for 140$(329$ retail) shipped, these things look bad as hell, avalanche ping reflector, ankle pump airbladder all kinds of trick features I didn't even know existed.

I'm mostly a freeride\powder guy thats spend less than 10% of his time in the park\pipe

Anyone's thoughts\review would be appreciated, thanks

edit: Would love to have been able to try on boots in the shop but no one around here carries anything "high end" in stock, alot of board shops are seasonal here in the summer as well. Had to order my autoevers without ever trying them on and love those though, hopefully I get as lucky with these boots.

Pump the bladder and see if it actually works, a lot of those boots have a gluing issue that seals them right off.

Better off sending them back to Backcountry than dealing with DC, that company sucks for warranties.

Yea shit I figured as much, I've had some of their low end outerwear that was complete junk but their shoes are pretty nice so I"M hoping their boots are the same.

Yep rechecked the boots today and the left pump doens't work, thanks for the heads up their gong back to Brocity now. This gives me a chance to downsize a 1\2 size anyways.

Thanks again

EDIT:

UPDATE
Brociety took care of me, sent me some 9.5 that fit better and actually work, ugly ass yellow\black color but I don't give a #$&* i got me a nice set working boots without heal lift.

How are the boots? I saw them on sale too, but figured it'd be too stiff for my needs.
