How do you like that that mountain? The good and the bad please.

Also where can i find cheap (super cheap) rent within walking distance to the lift?

good luck finding cheap rent for anything other than a walk-in closet, but who knows you may get lucky
(if you haven't started looking, start now; also factor the inflated resort prices for everything else)

as for the mountain, there's a lot to do and it's pretty easy to get around on the hill

lifts aren't slow; even the quad on the west face (2.5km long) doesn't take too long

pow can still be pretty easily found a few days after a dump, even during peak times

the main runs can get chopped up pretty quickly, although the mogul skiers don't tend to mogul up more than a couple runs

the biggest lines are usually at the Gem Lake Express (west face) and Black Forest Express (east face)

it's so nice having a 10-person-at-a-time uphill capacity in the middle

fog is supposedly a problem, but in the past few years i've only ever had one bad fog day

the good: snow lasts well after a dump, decent park open at night, good tree riding.

The bad: flat, fog, a few kids trying to front and limited options for going out, starts to feel pretty small town.

Rent there isn't bad compared to places like whistler, and the whole village is close to lifts so you cant go wrong there. Overall its a pretty good hill, especially if you're more into tricking around than freeriding.
