goes on sale tomorrow at 9am

$259 for adult pass, with restrictions, plus "perks" including discount on 2011 pass (expect $700+ after "discounts")
Lodge Lot is obviously closed all year.
Lot 1 (got to be at least 10 sq km) is closed ALL YEAR (WTF?).
Lot 2 is a shuttle bus loop.
Lot 3 is closed from January 1 to March 15 (WTF?).

personally, i think that the BC hills are such goddamn ripoffs it's insane

seymour is the cheapest ($700 for a 6-person family pass), but is getting super long lines (1 double chair + 1 lame and slow double chair + 1 lame and superslow double chair)

last year was a horrible year for seymour - bad snow year + longest lines evar

259 for a seasons pass seems cheap to me, even if the mountain sucks.

the mountain isn't bad - put it this way: if i were to get a free pass forever to one mountain on the north shore, i'd choose cypress

and unfortunately, $259 is incredibly cheap, considering the regular price :\

Well yeah the mountain will be closed for 5 full weeks but during that time when you've bought that pass you'll be getting 50% discount @ Mt. Baker 20% Discount @ Mt. Seymour and 10 free daypasses for Chrystal Mountain, and in addition to this you'll be getting some 2010 perks so yeah I've bought that pass just like last year.

I've got a pass for Grouse already too and will propably be in Golden & Revelstoke for one week anyway so I'm not too bothered about Cypress being closed or not being in full operation.

Can't wait for the winter to start :)
Life is hard, thank god powder isn't :-)

mt washington is the 50% during the olympics thing, not baker (baker is 0% off as always)

you still have to take the ferry for that, though :\

10 free @ crystal, etc is a boyne thing, not just olympic-specific (although this year you can only use those days during the cypress closure period)

also, for being an expensive (normally) pass, the discounts for other hills aren't as good as seymour's
