I just got back from two weeks of summer riding at Mt.Hood, OR and demo'd a 2010 K2 Jibpan 150. Basically it is an awesome do-it-all board. It is medium stiffness board (not a super soft jib board) with good pop and excellent edgehold (it works as a freeride stick). It has only a slight reverse camber to it, letting it be playful for easy butters and presses... but doesn't have the super super loose feel you get with some other reverse camber boards. The harshmellow works well for absorbing hard impacts and chop.

I actually own the 2009 K2 Jibpan 150 (regular camber) so I can do a nice comparison... the 2010 is a tiny bit softer, easier to press and butter, but still decently stiff flex in the middle (not super stiff, but in no way soft). It was a really fun board and a board I plan to own next season (I'll probably wait until they go on sale though). I landed my first switch frontside 540 with it... along with my first backside noselide pretzel out.

Other reverse camber boards I've ridden
2009 Neversummer SLR 155
2009 Libtech Phoenix Blonde 154

Other recent boards I've ridden
2008 Burton X8 155
2009 K2 Jibpan 150
2009 Burton Custom 154 (yuck)

Incidentally, my friend won a 2010 153 Jibpan in a raffle while we were there, anyone interested in it?

nice review!  I've been hearing good things about Jibpan and really want to own one.  I'm thinking of getting either 2010 Jibpan or the Slayblade as an all mountain board.  Have you ride the Slayblade? BTW, how much you weigh?  I'm around 170-175lb, not sure which size to get (I have a 152cm WWW Rocker)

I saw the Slayblade, flat camber (i.e. no camber) and stiffer... designed to replace the Zepellin.

I weigh 153 lbs and the 150cm felt nice... Since the Jibpan with Rocker is the WWW shape (jibtips so it has the effective edge of a board 5 cm longer) just stiffer - I'm guessing the 153 is good for you. The Jibpan held an excellent edge even on brickhard windpack. Of course I'm sure the Slayblade is even better for freeriding... but the Jibpan definitely was acceptable as an all-around board in hard/semi-soft conditions for me (not in deep powder I'm going to guess).

im about 90% sure i just didnt read clearly enough...

i rode the 53 and the 56 (reviews coming eventually) and I'm debating between the two but leaning towards 56

im 200 lbs and i think the extra length won't hurt, especially because rocker makes it so manueverable

I'll be like 160 by this season maybe less and I'll still be riding the 56. Jibtips with rocker means jack shit it completely negates any effects.
f*ck the rest die like the Best!
