Alright so I'm almost positive everyone has heard of Lib Tech's Banana board. But what's the hype about? I've heard it's really easy to press and 360 with, but is there that big of a difference between the banana and a regular board? And what's magna traction? I'm kinda behind on all Lib Tech's new features so if someone could take 5 minutes to kinda update me that'd be sweet.

Another thing, what would be the best banana park board? Just something good for kickers, rails, ect. I was looking at the Travis Rice but I read somewhere it wasn't really made native to park..

For your second paragraph: Lib Skate Banana, Gnu Park Pickle, Gnu Street BTX.  (Gnu and Lib are made by Mervin Mfg. in the same factory.)  I'm a bit of a Mervin whore, but don't limit your picks to just them.

i had been looking into the rice one as well... turns out its more 'natural park' if thats possible.  more bit hits and natural terrain.  sounds to me like it wouldn't quite be what you are looking for.

http://www.lib-tech.com/banana/index.html that has a brief little synopsis of what the banana and mtx are.

One more thing, on Lib Tech's site it says the 159 skate banana only fits boot sizes 8.5-10.5? Are there any wide park banana boards?

Its waist is 255mm, so you could get away with bigger.  What's your boot size?

I ride this and you can see a pic in my profile. I wear size 11.5 boots and I have good overhang. If you need you could always gets riser plates to give you some more room I guess.

Magne-traction is the edge cut on the board, it's wavy and supposedly gives a different feel. I've never rode one but I have doubts.

I rode a skate banana last season and so far it's the best board i've ridden to date. Pretty much the difference is that it's reversed cambered and the 'magna traction'.

The reverse camber is why it's called the banana cuz it doesn't have the rise in the center like almost all other boards. It's a stretched out 'U' shape basically. I, personally, can tell a huge difference cuz a smaller park board still rides like a champ in pow. I can feel less drag, like its just letting the snow go instead of grabbing it a little. Gives it a nice pop too.

The 'magne traction' is the serrated edges, like a steak knife. Adds for sharper turns and also cuts through ice and slush for a smoother ride and more control. Make the bad stuff tolerable.

Hope i didn't repeat anything people said, just saw your questions and thought i'd throw in my two cents of attempted help. Great board and price isn't too shabby either. Recommend it.
There is always three stories to everything,
yours, mine,
and the way it really went.
