Last season I spent most of my time staying with friends at a house by Squaw (sugar bowl was my favorite in the north shore area), but I need to bring it down a notch this year so I'm thinking about staying with a friend on the north side of Seattle in Bothell.  Any suggestions on where to buy a pass between Mt Baker and Stevens (other suggestions welcome)?  Google maps says they're each about the same distance from Bothell, but I keep hearing people say Mt Baker is a longer drive.  Is that because of bad roads or just because most people aren't already up on the north side of the city?

Edit:  whoops...wrong 'western' forum.  I may spend some time up at big white, though...

baker's an hour 15 to hour and a half from bellingham, due to the road. It's not on an interstate, that's for sure...steven's would be your closest option...
