Here's the deal...I went up to Jay Peak earlier in the season and it was -6 degrees with 30 mph sustained winds, so I said "screw it" since my tickets were good until the end of the season -- they're transferrable vouchers from an inn we stayed at up there. Trouble is, it's pretty much the end of the season for me. I leave on a two-week trip to Thailand next week. So unless Jay gets a miracle dumpage of snow in the next couple of days, I'm not making the 4 1/2 hour drive. But it's a shame to let them go to waste.
