Just need some feedback on how the Canon Rebel XS will hold up on the hill in cold winter weather.  I'm in the Northeast so the temp. in the winter is usually between 10 degrees F and 45 degrees F.  Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

A big thing with any camera is precipitation/condensation and what not. When you're outside in the cold, and going into a warmer place like a lodge, your camera is going to "melt" and can possibly eff it up. My dad gave me at tip of the zip lock. Keep your camera in a ziplock back before shooting, then put it back in after shooting. It'll keep your camera more dry by keeping it airtight from all that blasted atmosphere.

Hope that helps.

Oh and I have a Rebel as well, I've used in cold weather a few times (never snowboarding, but east coast winters are BRICK) and it's still great. Had it for around 3 or 4 years now.

What are we supposed to do on a hot date? Not eat popsicles?
