Now I know everyone here has taken their own cars (or their parents cars) with rear wheel drive and done some snow drifting.  I recently just started snow drifting this winter and towards the end now I've gotten rather good at it and so far no accidents .... Thank god. Now I was wondering if anyone had any funny stories/accidents that happend from this?

I wasnt drifting, even though i do love to drift in the winter, i took my GMC Envoy, and was doing donuts at my high schools track parking lot, then i took it down to the football field, and these roads go threw like the outside of the baseball field and football field and i pretty much launched off and hit my front end, my friend in the backseet hit her head on the roof and there was a huge bruise on her forehead, and my front end got recked, good times......in a fucking envoy idk what i was doing haha.

hahahaha envoy's are fucking badass. I have a 1500 ram 4 door sports edition. I remember my friend was drifting in his trailblazer and like he went into a ditch, hit a telephone pole and my other friend she hit her head on the sealing and there was a mark on the ceiling of the trailblazer because of all the makeup she was wearing. She saw the mark and thought she was bleeding and freaked out and passed out.

My least favorite thing about the snow, is of course having to drive in it! Especially since traffic is soooo much slower, and when driving to school people are sliding everywhere and accidents are happening making traffic even slower and ahhhhh just irritating ha!

However, I have non-intentionally drifted before, almost hit a parked car on the road, but nothing too crazy or out of this world. I'm just a good and cautious driver :) haha

It doesnt get much better then a little ford ranger. My moms truck, i drifted that thing daily. The worst one was actually in the summer. Playing on a gravel road, i was coming off a turn, downhill, towards a bridge. Caught the back right wheel in the curb, shreeded the tire, bent the rim, pulled the driveshaft out of the tranny (fords pop out, any other make would have totalled the tranny), broke 3 out of 4 spring mounts and bent a leafspring 90 degrees. Oh and gave my little sister whiplash.

Best one was the same truck on a wet road, i was in a hurry to get some gear from home and came flying through a set of lights (little middle of nowhere town, meant no cars) and turned left. Downhill, wet road, and way too fast. I wanna see a video of it cuz it felt like i was about 60degrees sideways and sliding with ease.

Dude's right, envoys are shit. You get sideways and catch some dry pavement, you'll be lucky if you get a chance to kiss your ass good bye.

Thats all we do in the winter at night here. One of my friends use to have a impreza L with wrx motor in it and could do some crazy stuff in that, then he got a legacy gt and can still do crazy stuff in it.

I was comming up US 40 next to I-70. I was in my yota pickup in RWD because there was no snow on the ground in golden. I got up to the genesee exit and slush/packed snow was covering the road. I go around a long right hand corner when the back end starts to kick out. At this poin im like "what ever" and control the drift as i go around the corner, but my chill attitude quickly changed when i spotted a dry spot that i was heading for. I turned the wheel to the inside of the corner and gave it alot of gass hoping to get the truck to spin a 180 into the snow bank on the inside of the turn and stop. But i got it to turn about 150 when the back tire hit the dry spot and sent my truck sidways into the air. I was looking out my drivers window at the ground in disbelief and killed the engine mid air. The truck landed in the snow bank on the drivers side, i hit my head on the window then my back pack, that was in the passengers seat, flew up and hit me in the head. I hit the stearing wheel, screamed f*ck,  and looked at my windshield which was destroyed and my safeway soup which had been thrown across my whole cab. My dad came with his truck, flipped mine over then i took it to the d.m.v. to get emissions done. The guy doing the test was laughing his balls off at the snow and dirt dripping fromt he sun visors.
