i'm a lanky 6'1" with long arms and am looking for longer slim jackets to match my body type... to get the length i want in, say, burton jackets or special blend jackets, i have to sacrifice a wide boxy fit... are there any companies out there who make their jackets long in the sleeves and body, but are still slim enough to not look like i'm in a potato sack?

i believe volcom and dc make long fit stuff

burton does a slim fit now, did you give that a try?

my 2 cents about holden jackets...

i'm 6'2", 140lbs and its usually a female dog trying to find anything that fits well. I have the holden cfm in a size M (could prolly fit a S if I didnt want to layer as much) and it fits perfectly for boarding or anything else really.

I know you said Burton, but check there team fit jacket. The stuff gets super long and not crazy wide

i could see a need for slim fit being that size

try on a sessions jacket or pants.. they may suit you

I'm a long-armed 6'1" or 6'2" as well.  Sessions' Summit Fit stuff fit me pretty normally (size L), and the sleeve length was still good.  If possible, get the dimensions for the past jackets you had, namely sleeve length and chest (and body length, if available), and cross-reference potential jackets if you still can't find what you want.
