Tokyo, Japan in March - Know any local mtns? shops? snowdomes?

Spending about 10 days in tokyo for a little vacation time with the girlfriend...
 
anybody know any good places to shred out there? snowdomes? mountains? distance? prices?
 
and also wouldn't be a bad idea to check out some of the shops around the area .. what snowboard shops are out there? any brands japan has that i should try to buy that they don't sell in the US?
 
any info would be awesome..

There are many snowboard shops in Jimbocho.  U can take the JR train to Ochanomizu or take the metro to Jimbocho to get to those shops.  Many things to see there but they have huge markups.  Only thing I can think of worth getting is the Japan limited stuff.

The nearest mountains from Tokyo is in Yuzawa.  U can take the Shinkasen to Gala Yuzawa from Tokyo station (approx 80 mins ride and the station is literally next to the mountain).  But the mountain is quite small and the trip will cost around 15000 (including train and lift tickets)
