UPDATED 22 JANUARY 2009 Europe is a great place to be skiing this week as heavy snowfalls have boosted conditions. France, Italy and Switzerland have benefited the most as some resorts received 60cm of fresh snow on Tuesday night. Selva Gardena in Italy is in superb condition as 60cm of snow fell and powder covers the whole mountain, pistes included.
