Where: Ottawa/Cantley (Cascades)/Hull(Casino)/Palaces of love.
When: Feb 28th-Mar 1st 2009
Who: All you pretty faces
What: EC MEET (Meat)
Why: Because the 'Wa needs some love too..

We shall now open up to places being offered for people needing to sleep.
Couches and floors are always appreciated.

I would have offered the couch at my place (at one point it was CRAZY comfortable) but now it's a little broken.

We do, however, have a pretty solid floor for sleeping on if needed, I'll even let you pitch a tent, so long as that tent isn't in your pants (for too long atleast.... )

My floor ISSSSSS pretty stiff if I do say so myself ;) hahahaha

As per hills to ride, (Within a 45 min drive): Camp Fortune, Mont Cascades, Edelweiss, Ski Vorlage, Calabogie Peaks, and Mont Sainte Marie.

IF you/we feel like making a longer drive (two hours-ish): Mont Sainte Sauveur/Avila, Owl's Head, Bromont, Grey Rocks, Mont Blanc, Mont Gabriel, Rigaud, Mont Orford, Mont Olympia, Morin Heights, Val St-Come, And of course, Mont Tremblant.

If you feel like taking a bit longer of a drive (2 1/2 - 3 hours+): Mont Sutton, Mont Glen, Shefford, Stoneham, Massif, Mont Saint Anne...

SO within the area (and a very VERYY reasonable drive, there's a good 5 to choose from.
I would suggest Cascades, Calabogie, or Sainte Marie.
If we go to Cascades, we can take "Park Progression with Perras and Perriard" ;) ;) ;)

Just putting it out there, there's a spare bedroom available at the Perron-Periard Poonani Palace. There's also a pull out couch and a twin mattress which can be thrown on a floor somewhere. Don't worry, everything was cleaned following the new year's eve party. If we decided to go to Cascades, I'd definitely be willing to give you guys some park-progression coaching and I'm sure Dana would be up for it as well. Plus Mike, the park manager, is constantly working on the pro-park. As I understand it, Edelweiss' park is bigger, but ours has more flow (so I heard from Edelweiss' park groomer who was riding with us last week).

Done! You're in! There's even a double bed in there so you can share with Mike. Although if that doesn't tickle your fancy there's plenty of room in my bed... I mean, what? LOL! In any case, the Perron-Periard Poonani Palace would be honoured if you and Mike could grace us with your presence. Ironically there's a fridge full of beer even though I don't drink. Every time I throw a party, I somehow wind up with more alcohol in my house. Clearly my friends over-estimate their abilities to consume.

well, if i drink all that beer (since neither you nor kendra would drink it) you may end up sharing your bed with her... as i'm sure i'll do something drunken and stupid.

anyway.. i'm going to go ask my manager how he would feel about it.

Your absence will make puppet Jesus cry. Can we make a Chris standee so that you can at least be in the pictures?

By "standee" do you mean a life-sized cardboard cutout? A dude I went to college got one of himself for his parents for Christmas since he was staying at school. Classic!
Buy stuff I made because I'm awesome!

I bet we can have one made at Staples. Plus I'm sure we can find a suitable picture somewhere on the internet.

I won't have the fund for a Tremblant trip (as I head to Vegas the week after)

Marc, if ever you need help finishing that beer, you know I'm (pretty much) just down the road..

If I can hitch a ride I may be able to make this one! Kinda feel like I ought to as I've missed all the others.
I even have a mini fridge full of beer!

I'm good for shenanigans, I would have to miss out on the snowboarding and any bar-hopping in ontario though (still sitting on the wrong side of legal drinking for another 2 months).

BUT. If I can find the time from work and the means of transportation, I would be honored to finally have a drink with you guys.

Jeremy, you're more than welcome to drink the beer in my fridge. In fact, that would probably lead to a good time. Unfortunately I'm never home. Although Dana's gonna be lonely now since I'm heading to Vegas then Colorado on Wednesday. You guys should get wasted and play Gears of War or something.

Chris: How do you feel about granny panties? And a standee would be sooo ballin'. Not as ballin' as actually getting to ride with you though, but pretty close. We'll let you know what the general consensus is.

Oddity: Get your underage butt up here and drink my beer. Maybe we can even go to the bars on the Quebec side where you'll be of age.

Marc, I'm still kinda hurt that you're leaving me for so long...

Oh and have fun tonight (if you end up hitting Nuit Blanche...)

I officially just made THE best fruit punch mix. I bought the family size powder mix, and for the first time ever, got the exact perfect amount into my cup, and mixed it with the exact perfect amount of water.

Simply put, I tend to be amazing sometimes.

oddity - i GUESS mike and i could possibly pick you up on our way.... i guess.... heh that is, if you'd let us. i know mike is very scary and all, but really he's not so bad when you get to know him... you'll just have to ignore the stench.

I find the stench appealing and welcoming. It's like he's saying 'Hey, you and I are friends, I don't need to shower'

Which way are you guys 'coming up' from anyways? I'm right at the end of the subway line - bayview & finch area.
