I have had  my 09 k2 t1 boots for a few weeks now, and been out about 5 days with them now, and I am getting a sharp pain on the outside of both of my ankles. It almost feels like a pen is being pushed right into that bone on the outside of the ankle. I got the boots molded and still the same pain. The rest of the boot fits fine its just that pressure against that bone in my ankle that is causing pain.

Has any1 else had this problem??? any ideas what i can do to get rid of it?

Thanks

Try loosening the access BOA or play around with the the velcro position on the inside to move the access BOA up or down.  You might have it quite high up and tighten the liner BOA too much.  Play around with different settings.

take the liners out and make sure theres no padding that isnt supposed to be there
maybe you and the boots arent destined to be
there are other boots out there
slight possibility that your angles are too high on your bindings causing to boot to dig in due to your natural body tendancy. oh well youll figure it out.
good luck

anything you can do i can do switch

assuming you really do have the access wire/velcro adjusted properly, you're probably just tightening up the side boa way too much - if the boots feel a little loose, you may need some new insoles or something to jack your heel up so the liner's j-bar isn't right on your ankle bone.  Are the boots too big for you?

no the boots are perfect size, my toes are pushed against the end of the liner but not curled. I have the red hot superfeet insole thinking that it would get rid of that pain, but its still there.

Remold the liner and when you do it put your sock on then put the footbed under your foot and put another sock over it.  When you step into the liner grab it hard and pull upward making sure you sink into the heel pocket.  Chances are on the last mold you didn't do this and the J bar sunk a little and is now digging in on you.

If after that mold it doesn't work have the shop cut out a foam circle put it over your ankle bone in the sock and remold  again.

f*ck the rest die like the Best!

I tried my T1 DBs with superfeet blues today.  The blues cleared up my heel lift entirely.

anyway, I also found that if I tightened the side boa very lightly, but tighened the front boa good and tight, I was much more comfortable.  I figure, once the liner packs out more, I might start tighening the side boa more

I still have some big toe problems and need to pop out all the boas at the end of each run, but things are much better than before
