From the top of my head it isnt a fully insulated coat. Moreso a light jacket, but definatly has plenty of pockets, and solid waterproofing tech. Looks good in the blue.

I Lied, It had 40g insulation, so it would be relatively warm, not like a puffy, but definatly warmer than a shell. It seems like its exactly what you want. And I also lied, it looks even better in the white. Probably my favorite burton coat this year for looks, but i may suggest the system jacket. Its got the same waterproofing/breathabilty as the esquire jacket, but its slightly more versatile as its a 3in1, so you get a zip out bonded hoodie that when combo'd with the shell jacket is super warm. But you pick whichever, both nice coats forsure.

If you want warmth, a puffy is your best choice. WM has a great foursquare puffy right now on for massive discount.
