Good $300 Camera

Looking to get a camera around the $300 range. What's some good cameras to check out? I want one for snowboarding pictures/scenery pictures. Won't use it for anything besides those types of photos. I'm going to Australia/New Zealand so I want a legit camera but nothing too big. Not trying to be a professional. Thanks
