legallyillegal Posts : 1118 ONLINE	Posted on Dec 11, 2008 So I'm going to be in the Kelowna area for 3 days / 4 nights over Christmas. Planning Big White one day, Silver Star the next. I can get all-day (incl night) lift tickets to each for $57 (each). Any way to get them cheaper? For the third day (which would be a Saturday), I'm thinking about hitting up Crystal. I don't care about the price of a ticket. Is the snow crap like I expect it to be? Do all the locals go there or, like Manning, can I expect the whole hill to myself? Are the lifts super slow? Terrain park any good? Decent runs? Any grooming? And yes, I know it's tiny. [Edited by legallyillegal on 12/11/2008 at 3:12 AM]

Anyways, $100.50 for 2 days of BigWhite/SilverStar, and then it looks like I'll be hitting up Apex since it's only 100km away. About Apex: I'm fine for all levels, but how is it for an older skiier who prefers the easier (i.e. groomed) blues? As for Revelstoke, I'd rather do a whole weekend there (not an option right now). If you want you can even take the middle chair up higher and ride the black chutes down to the blue groomers and meet him.

sabbath69 Posts : 73 ONLINE	Posted on Jan 14, 2009 dont go to apex its $60 and wayyyy smaller and older then big white unless you want to do blacks all day the lifts take like 30minutes big whites lifts are way faster and longer and you have tons of terrain to chose from. i havnt evan done all the runs and i live there(i mostly do park but still) also blackforrest is really busy now go to powder falcon and gem if you like powder and freeride stuff [Edited by sabbath69 on 14/01/2009 at 5:43 PM]
