yep i do too.  I hit up Scratch and Zulu at least once a month for new finds.  There's also a good little shop in Seattle's University District, he calls me when he gets something good that comes in.

What type of music do you's collect.  I'm into R&B and old rock, my favorite year for both genres was 1969, and a guilty pleasure of mine is modern soul.

I just picked up Serge Gainsbourg "Histoire En Melody Nelson" today.

I mostly collect late 60's - early 70's jazz and soul.

Ya, you never know though, Vancouver is by no means a consistent producer of thrift heat, but I turn up a few gems a year.  This year - quicksilver messenger service, the dramatics, and silver apples.

I've found shitloads of great old funk, jazz and rock 45s in used record stores in Vancouver. I buy most of my new music digitally these days, but i still dig in the crates for old school stuff.
I wish I was little bit taller, I wish I was a baller,
I wish I had a girl who looked good, I would call her
I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat and a six-four Impala

I'm sure you have, but a used record store isn't a thrift. I buy used records exclusively, everything (well, most) i have is an original press, the only re-issues i have are stuff i would never ever find anywhere for less than $150, stuff like Skull Snaps and Earth Rot.

Van has some pretty good shops. i guess no one bought much funk/soul stuff here, there's barely any black people in Vancouver, lol.

I don't but it's something that I've always wanted to do. I just don't have the money for it right now yet. I'll probably start collecting when I get older.

I just got The Doors self-titled debut album down in denver at LPHounds. Pretty excited, i had been looking for that one for a long time. Another gem i have is Big Brother and the Holding Company's Cheap Thrills, Joplin's finest work

I am a compulsive collector of many things... comic books, movies, cds... I bought  a record... then had to force myself not to buy more because I really can't afford it!
The record I got is The Uneventful Vacation by Commander Venus (Conor Oberst's first band) I got him to sign it too! It says Jari, Thanks god for you!
I was pumped as hell.
I'm what Willis was talkin' 'bout
