Thorouhgly agreed.  Had an excellent evening last night with some freshies in nice 5° weather, so soft and fluffy instead of usual MN snow.  Wish I could ride all day, every day.

Heard that shit... There is nothing more statisfying: then leaving the mountain feeling beat cause you rode.. LIKE YOU KNOW HOW. Going down the trail, hitting every little natural feature thats nice.

That's how it was when I was up at Key the other weekend. We left at like 230, early, but we woke up early, got there, and rode our asses off. Got stuck in pretty bad in a U/U area (the huge one on the SSW side of North peak), damn not paying ENOUGH attention and finding yourself boxed in with only an uphill exit by huge logs that you can't ride or jump over (in 2ft or so of fresh). That was a nice half mile or so hike.

Great fucking times, though. Get back the car, have a beer, a toke, and just sit there unthawing for a bit. One of the best feelings in the world.
Dirty, but invigorating.
With a pinch of depression, but a heaping spoonful of arrogance.
