Yep, definitely my favorite local band.  They used one of their songs in the snowboarding film First Descent.  If i remember correctly it was Michio's Death Drive from the Menos El Oso album.

yes, dude that mentioned death drive, that was in the film, these guys are great, saw them at warped tour a few years back, met them as well, some average, nice guys. great tunes im in complete agreement   

I was stoked on these guys for a while, but ever since the Minus El Oso came out I don't like the direction they are going. That and the guitarist that does all the loop effects IS A HUGE DICK. They played a show here, and I was doing photos and my buddy does sound. The guitarist was setting his stuff up, and when he went to sound check nothing came out of his guitar. He checked a few connections and still couldn't find anything. He starting giving dirty looks to my buddy and starting asking what the fuck's with the sound guy? So I notice that the main patch cord running from his first pedal to his amp is looped around the cab and not plugged in. He had plugged everything else in but the patch to the amp...

I told him to turn around and plug the thing in and I'm sure that would fix the problem, and I also mentioned maybe he should check ALL of his connections before he starts being a dick to the sound guy.

That made me not so stoked on them.

they are so sick, almost went to one of their concerts but couldn't make it :(

im gonna have to look into this album, didnt kno they released it
