What resort  has the best snow between 20 dec till 30  along with a good snowpark in austria or switzerland? i am thinking about laax.

any help guys...

Switzerland probably, Austria tends to be a bit low.

Laax isn't a bad choice but i'd say go hit the Espace Killy region of france if you want to be sure that snow will be on the ground and have access to a decent park in that part of the season.  If you get the espace killy pass you can access tignes and val (300km of trails), and i'm pretty sure there are 3 parks split bewtween the two.  val's park is super fun...its kind of like its own little universe atop the glacier with a mountain restaurant/bar right there!  from what i could tell, it seems like it gets a little better every year too.  check these dudes out for cheap deals, www.action-outdoors.co.uk you can get a weeks worth of lift tix, gear, a guide, lodging, all your food, and a transfer from geneva airport for less than 1000USD.  if you go solo or with a few friends, the lodging is a badass place to meet other riders and usually college chicks galore.  theres a fun bar in the hotel too.  gotta get your own flight as far as i know, but most of their visitors come from europe.

What do you think about zermatt?

I can only comment on places I have been but have not been to them at the times your asking about, I would say Austria has some great off piste and night life, though Swiss alpes have some great runs and some realy good parks, best to look at www.worldsnowboardguide.com and see what the differences are for th resorts you are looking at

Yeah Laax all the way.  I just hope anyplace you go doens't have an incident like they did in Whistler yesterday.  I am really starting to consider doing some telemark skiing this year
