with all the updates they do, they still can't get blocking right :/. nothing is worse then 3 guys going unblocked and stopping all your runs

im hopin to pick it up soon. Are there any new features this year?

when you get a good hitstick on someone, the screen shakes, when you break away the camera zooms in on you and it shakes, you can do special endzone celebrations, no qb vision, and you can "rewind" a play... like a mulligan in golf... kinda gay when you play another person, but when the computer makes you fumble FOUR fuckin' times against the jets when you're the pats it aint bad

This is false. Madden 08 your running backs would always fall forward for positive yards. Not so in Madden 09. You gotta earn your run yardage.

The AI is still the bane in online games though. With any team with a good offensive line, just throw 4 or 5 routes, criscrossing all over the place, against any defense, and you can move the ball.

If you play with a crappy team online though, get prepared to get owned by the Cowboys or the Patriots.

They also made the long ball harder to figure out. You cannot just tap it anymore and wait for your fast receiver to run underneath the ball.
