tan tan if i'm not mistaken i do believe you work for a carrier so i'm sure you have some industry insight but from a user standpoint i disagree. i have the curve and i love it.
I do have to admit that RIM didnt do to bad a job with the curve or the pearl. Its just the software issues with in the phones themselves. they may have revamped the OS on the blackberrys to fix issues they constantly had with earlier models (like the 7100, i hate that phone with a passion). The way the phone it self operates is good....except for the tiny tiny keypads.

Are the monthly fees for them still as expensive as fuck? When I supported them a couple years back the plans were 80-90 dollars a month...for essentially a cell phone you can check your email on....awesome! Hence the reason why I never wanted to own one.
What's really funny is to watch how long someone can leave it on a table at the bar before they pick it up again, they really are crackberrys.
well in canada until Telus or bell or rogers wakes up your prices will always be insane for anything pertaining to cell phones. I heard verizon is thinking about moving up there. Hope your country doesnt have any laws on monopolies, because every single canadian will shit when they see their prices.
I used to cell verizon phones on plans for canada/us calling to canadians because it was actually less expensive even with the exchange rate (that was back when it was close to 15 or 20%).

im on blackberry #7 now

. fortunately im not paying for them, i just got a 8330 smartphone any good lakia?
The curve? Could be. Problem is its too new to really know. Another big thing is who is your carrier? Sometimes phones will actually work better on a different provider. People who use GSM seem to have a better time with the BB's for what ever reason. But for instance, LG and samsung kick ass on verizon, but seem to suffer on cingular (cdma vs gsm).

I got a Treo 700wx. Same services and cost, basically. Luckily work covers 40% :) I like it alot, but being in constant contact with work email actually sucks....I want to toss the damn thing out the window half the time. But having internet to check weather, radar, movie times, restaurant menus, and navigation far outweigh the downsides.
It isnt through Sprint is it? If so back that thing up every day, and keep on top of the software updates for it, the 700 and 750 have had issues using windows and sometimes, for no apparent reason, will completely delete information on the phone and just decide to stop working
