There may be three of us coming down from BC to ride at Mt. Hood in a couple weeks, sometime around the 8th to 14th of May, not too sure yet.  I've never been to Mt. Hood but my friend who is planning the trip is really siked on Timberline so we'll probably be riding there and staying at a hostel in Government Camp.  There may be a day or two at MHM as well.  He's probably going be hanging out with the third person on the trip a bunch so I'm wondering if any of you are up for riding.  I'm looking to ride with any advanced/experts out there.  I'm not a big park guy but it's the spring so I don't know if there will be a whole lot else and I'm willing to give it a more serious try.

How is the Timberline halfpipe?  I've been trying to improve my pipe riding for the past couple months and this could be my last real shot at it this year.

Any Timberline/MHM/Goverment Camp info beyond what's been recently posted in this forum would be helpful as well.

Thanks a lot.

Breakfast at Huckleberries, yum.  Drinks at Rat or Charlie's.

Timberline's halfpipe varies, i'm there in August and even then it's still decent...better if you can ride a camps halfpipe but still the public pipe isn't too bad.  Spring is the best time from the years i've been there.

This year conditions are exceptional. Meadows hass over 200 inches on the ground still and Tline is even better. My final day of instructing at Meadows was Friday the 25`th. We are now on the "May Challenge" and are only open on Sat & Sun through May. Since I have only weekdays off, I will be riding at Tline through the end of the month. Palmer was recently dug out and is epic. The terrain parks are on Conways and Paintbrush and right now the plan is to keep the lower mountain going since there is so much snow.

It looks like it will only be me who is coming down.  I'll be staying in SE Portland this weekend and riding on the Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and maybe Tuesday (May 17, 18, 19, 20).  If anyone wants to meet up and ride Timberline let me know.  Car pooling would be great too.
