So what's everyone plan for next year...where are you getting your season pass?

Vail put up their prices already and SBT/WP/Copper's are going up today (I just updated the steamboat site so ours are up).

I get a Steamboat/Copper/WP pass for free...but I'm going to be purchasing the Breck/Keystone/ABasin pass as well for next year since I ride there enough to warrant it.  Not sure if I wanna do the extra 10 days yet at Vail/BC...we'll see.

Probably a Loveland Season pass since I get a free Vail resorts pass and have use of a Copper/WP pass.

Well, if I stay in CA I will probably get a Mt High pass again, since I have family right there and have a free place to stay.  But if I move to CO....

well, I can tell you it wont be Heavenly again. Heavenly is the flattest mountain I think I have ever ridden, next to Dodge Ridge, but none of you guys will have ever heard of Dodge Ridge.

Im thinking the Double Wammy at Sierra and Northstar, or perhaps an Alpine or Squaw Valley one. We get shop passes at my shop for Kirkwood, Heavenly, and Sierra, so it would be nice if I could afford a Squaw Valley one. I would only have to sell my car, whore myself out, and go back to drug dealing to afford one at Squaw

Probly schweitzer for next year. However last time I bought a pass there they had their worst season in like 10 years, so lets hope for a slightly better outcome.

FUCK YOU THAT I HAVEN'T HEARD OF DODGE RIDGE ASSHOLE!!!  Hahaha, Yeah, I've ridden there a bunch.  Dodge is by no means epic, but I actually think it's fun enough.  There are few fun areas off the beaten path there.  Bear Mtn above Angels Camp is a lot of fun too.  If you are doing the day trip thing from the Bay, those are much more reasonable spots to drive to.
Heavenly does suck for the most part.  Go to Kookwood or North shore resorts.

oh shit...looks like i pissed some people off with the Dodge Ridge comment. hahaha. Yeah, I do agree, it is a fun little resort. It has pretty flat terrain and is probably the lowest, most sun drenched mountain in California, but the vibe there is great, and you can have alot of fun there.

hahaha. yeah, I lived by Bear Valley for the last 11 years, I know all about Bear. Its were I learned how to ride. I lived up the highway from Angels Camp in a town called Avery, which is below Arnold.

I was so tired of riding that resort though, I was driving the extra hour to get to Kirkwood, taking some back roads I know of. Bear Valley has gone downhill over the years. The vibe there is the worst I have ever seen at any resort. Its better than Dodge Ridge with terrain, but the vibe at Dodge is twenty times better.

Mt Baker, it's just too close and too fun to not spend a lot of time there.

Stevens... like always. Gotta get the early season deal before the end of May. I might get a Snoq pass, too. Just to do some night stuff after work.

Wow that's sad to hear about Bear.  Really one of my favorite spots.  My friend's family has a sweet cabin in Arnold, and I just barely remember Avery.  So I take it you took the cutoff to good 'ol 88.  That is actually not a bad drive at all.  Funny how small the world is...

I'm a college graduate, I'm fucked. And salaries in UT generally suck unless you OWN a successful contracting business, are a successful Real Estate agent, run a Polygamist Sect, or are a business manager in one of the many fly by night door to door product sca....er sales.

Utah is scam central man. I get people knocking on my door every day trying to sell me a $3k vaccuum, finance $10k worth of windows, etc. Top that off with the missionaries selling salvation for %10 of my income or the kids selling candy bars for $2 and I'm liable to finally get that concealed carry permit and start taking shots out of my windows!

That was off topic.....back to you Colorado and Tahoe folk, who get decent pass prices!

On another note, why are kids getting by so damn cheap?  Kids don't spend money on beer and burgers in the lodge! My kid could ride at PC resorts for $150. It would cost me $900 for preseason and I would buy beer and burgers in their lodge cause I work for a living and I get fucking hungry. Meanwhile college kids who ate mac and cheese before hitting the slope, spend $375 for a season pass, don't buy the burgers and beers at the lodge (insert weed nutrients here, jk stoners!) and probably piss off the tourists who actually fund the damn resort.

Goddamnit I shouldnt have come to this thread drunk. I always get pissed looking at certain resorts in Tahoe and Colorado, and I could be paying 300-400 bucks for quality riding instead of getting gang raped for close to $900 a pop!

Yes, my vajayjay is sore tonight.

I'm planning on getting a Kirkwood season pass for my birthday (4/26). $349, not bad.
