I need help creating that effect of having a sequence on one picture.
for example

i use sony vegas 7.0 and i looked everywhere for help. i got some of it down. i put the clip in the track. put keyframes on there. and used the keyframes to save pictures. i got all my pictures. (theres 7) and then i try goin to tools, scripting, then use the folder where the pics are. i dont touch the numbers, since that may be a problem. click ok and then nothing happnes except constant hourglas in vegas. i check my cpu usage and its like 5 percent, so its not like my computer is goin crazy.
any help?

you make sequences like that in photoshop not in a video program, check out this for more info.

Theres prolly a way, I have no clue how one would do it though, my guess would be that it would be about 100 times easier to do in photoshop then in vegas

save the frames you want as images... then put each image in a new video track... then create a mask for each layer so that the rider is visible through all the layers.

but video software is not how you want to do this stuff.

it's possible, but the quality will suck and it will be way more hard to be precise with your masks.

Not bad... but invest in Photoshop and a camera that will take sequences. Learn how to extract objects from the image and then your golden. That way, you can create a high res version, blow it up, and have a poster made of yourself drop somethin' kick ass. Video will always be low res... even high def stuff is too low for print work.

You could probably get another paint program, or even macromedia Fireworks, but photoshop is your best bet.

Depends on what you think is cheap... and what you want from your camera. The Canon PowerShot Pro Series S5 is a kick ass "cheap" camera(I've got this one). Has sequence shooting, video, 8 MP, great manual controls, shake control, great picture quality, etc... But on sale, it's 300 bones, normally 450 (check Amazon, it's 300 right now). To some, that is expensive. It's also a between the SLR's and the point and shoots. So it's bulkier, but not too bad. I don't like taking it with me everywhere, so I use it on those special occasions when I want to get some great park pics and that was my goal for the day. Otherwise, I carry a smaller point and shoot. You can get a decent camera for 150 bones, but it won't do cool stuff. Will take good pics though. The Canon PowerShot SD1000 is 160 bones (check out Amazon.com, they've got some good prices right now). Decent camera for a point and shoot. Any of the Canon powershot series are pretty good. It will all depend on how much you want to spend at that point. Sony makes a good one too. I have the Sony Cybershot S700. Good camera. Not much in the way of manual controls, it's more of a point and shoot, but it fits in my pocket easy for those days when I'm not even sure if I want to take pics. Almost the size of a cell phone.

Sorry for the long winded post. Lot's to know about camera's, but you can't go wrong with the Canon powershot's and Sony CyberShot. Both good camera's. Just figure out what you want with it, then go from there.

I took this shot with a casio exilim camera with 7.2 mega pixels and has a variety of continuous photo options...I used the high speed flash option with this photo.  My friend who is a photoshop guy, put it together for me.  The camera cost like $150, has spent every day with me on snow this winter without any issues.

That's tom...an amazing skier
