I've wanted to go to chile during the US summer, which as I undertstand is winter in Chile. My friends have just never been very receptive to the idea but I think i'm wearing them down beacuase they started inquiring about the cost of the trip etc.
 
So that brings me here, how much do you think a week out in Chile would cost? Hotel, lift tickets, food and drinking etc?

flying there alone is pretty expensive.
Buying drinks in a bar, also expensive...best bet is to buy alcohol in a store.
Hotel and lift ticket I honestly don't know because when I was in Chile, I was in the desert area, and not "allowed" to snowboard(long story).
Chile's economy RIGHT NOW is doing badly in comparison to the US...I think the peso's at over 550 to a dollar, which is good. If you look for deals, you'll be fine...just seriously be careful of people taking advantage of the fact that you're foreign...because chileans will do that, trust me.

Chile is a great place to ride... You would have a great time if you like powder and parks.  I can help you get slopeside accommodation in El Colorado that is very affordable.  Happy hour in resort everyday with 2 for 1 drink specials.

do u wanna go ride to the central zone,where u can fin valle nevado, colorado, la parva, or go to the south. like termas de chillan (nevados de chillan). skipucon etc
 
 
the south of chile its pretty cheap, now one dollar its 620 chilean pesos, that really good for u.
in the south u can find hostal for less than 10 dollar.
