OK...here's what might be an interesting topic.
 
Let's see photo's of some of the locals at your hill. Now we could easily get into a debate of who is a local/what it means to be a 'local'. But that's not the point.
 
Let's just say that this guy has been riding at my hill for at least 10 years straight. This photo is from sharing first chair of the year with him this year. Ladies and gentlemen...meet Jeffrey. Yes...he braids his beard. (and is actually a fairly interesting person.)

i think there is a guy that looks exactly like that at every mtn. i swear i saw this same guy at 7springs 2 weeks ago!

The photo really doesn't do justice to his beard, or hair. Beard goes to his upper chest...hair goes to his waist I'd guess.
 
And yes...he has an archetypical 'ski bum' look to him.

Dude, the yeti captured on film!!! Everyone should see this its awesome..you gotta change the name of this thread, i never clicked on it cause i thought it was some pretentiopus gay local only thread...change the thread to 'my chairlift ride with the abdominable snow man!'

First time by, I saw him and didn't get the camera out. The lap takes about 30 minutes and I got this shot:

Yo...I'd hate to even post any pics of the slopes we have here in MN. Not much to be proud of. Every time I've gone out west (Utah, etc) I come back to MN and never wanna hit the slope here. It's kind of depressing if ya know what I mean? We do our best to keep it real though!

I feel for ya, I took my first lessons snowboarding while on vacation in MN.  It was on some ice hill.  I fell so many times on that damn ice.  I swore never to board on ice again.  Still, I fell in love with boarding.
