I like optimistic, but it was way too short.
First decent was good to.
A lot of other ones feels the same to me, like POP and THAT. Just same grind and jump over and over again mixed with different music mostly.

If you want repeptitive movies, check out the F.O.D.T. films (the latest being Cold World). Most of the riders are doing the same tricks on the same terrain for every part. Eric Messier, MFM and Yan Dofin all switch it up a little in their parts, but everybody else looks like the same part.

i thought the dc movies were good.. mtn. lab and mtn lab 1.5 ... follow me around was awesome.. trulli love was a good documentary type deal.. and child support.. didn't get a chance to watch optimistic yet.. gotta check it out.. but i'm gonna have to agree with the other guy who mentioned thanks brain.. think thank has some sick tricks and really original stuff gus engle's really kills it... patchwork patterns was also good from them too

and outcold was pure entertainment like those 80's ski movies.. i thought it was funny..haha

miniboards are the new snowblades... haha
o-matic is the new hotness

Technical Difficulties is by far my fav... One of the first films to show a good mix of backcountry, park, and off hill asshattery.  Then in close second would have to be Lame.

The most recently film I bought is Optimistic. It's really nice!
But still I have a favourite, really old now. I think it's called Blackbox. But not sure, someone has borrowed it so I can't check :P
POP is another nice movie by Absinthe Films.

^^ Yeah I love White Balance...the whole motif of the movie was great.

I cant believe no one has put the MDP move Follow Me Around. That is probably my all time favorite. Eero Ettala throwing a double inverted rodeo 10 was siiick

i bought FMA a while ago and i gotta say i didnt like it much. the riding was good but nothing really eye popping, plus save for the songs by nofx and that jolie song. the soundtrack was god awful. euro-trash electronica has no place in snowboarding

and out cold is the shit

I liked Out Cold, now that was a killer snowboard movie that really focused on the riding and life of real snowboarders and the everyday issues they face.

i liked that movie because part of it was filmed at the mountain i go to all the time
and when ever im up there i cant help but to think of that movie

Optigrab, Bike Car and December are my solid top 3, i love Optigrab, it was one of the first boarding movies i ever saw, and its what really got me into riding, it has a solid lineup too,  december and bike car are mor ethere just for the fun value, they both just seemed like it was just friends riding, and it was sick to see that happen with all the over comericalized videos of today.

I don't know about anyone here but I seem to be a sucker for the Warner Miller films.  There the shit!  Makes me realize half of the stuff that's shot I'll never be able to do...

Warren Miller's films are balls since they only added snowboarding to them because their sales were sucking with just skiing alone. The old school Warren Miller ski movies are hilarious to look back on though, they're just so ridiculous.

Isn't that the guy that died snowboarding Everest? I saw it on TV about a year ago. Guy was amazingly insane. Biggg mountains.

LilBastards is one of my all-time favourite snowboarding videos. I haven't seen Still Bastards yet, but I'm stoked to get my hands on a copy. This year my favourite video was Oakley's Community Project. They ride some sick stuff in the vid, lots of stock-A pro's and some different styles of shooting.

Back in tha day the Whiskey videos ruled. Obviously I like videos that combine riding and hyjinx though, although the Oakley flick didn't have much in the way of hyjinx, but then again that one was a gift. I didn't pay for it...
