Yes, it's that time once again to bring back Profile Hopping Week!!!!! For those who don't know what profile hopping is.. here's the link to what I believe is the last one we did.... ages ago!!!!http://snowboard.colonies.com/forums/topic/1769/

Remember to utilize your karma wisely if you hop by someone's profile who you know is quite rad (or not so rad). 2. It might be good to add something like "(SB.com Forums Profile Hopping 2007)" or a link to the thread after you comment, just so people don't think you're a total looney when you just leave them a comment that says "hop, hop, hop". Profile hopping may commence immediately. It will end at midnight, next Thursday.

It's an excuse to visit people profile, learn a bit about them, check out their pics, without feeling like a complete stalker! ha!
for example, there are people that you constantly dialogue with in threads, but you have never visited their profile, so you can go and check out who they are.
I know because of the last profile hop, I started to talk to a lot of non forum people too. Basically, it's a way to just snoop around, and get to know the people on sb.com.

oo, can't remember when I last profile hopped! hehe -i don't think I did it right before though, I would just go down my friend list and write 'hop' ha :S

So let me get this straight.
1) I randomly go to somone's profile.
2) I leave a comment and a link to this thread.
3) I look at their friend list and randomly choose a profile to go to from that list.
4) Repeat steps 2-3 (and 4 as many times as desired... NERD ALERT: What's the halting condition?)
Is that pretty much it in a nutshell?
Essentially in coding it would be an endless loop. I guess boredom would make us stop, or the realization you're being a creep, or angered cause nobody is creeping it real on your profile.
