Hey, so you're planing to travel to S.america, I'd recomend  you to come to vallenevado chile, its a very nice place to take vacatios , you have nice snow there, lots of people, and its only 1-2 hrs away from santiago. Another posibility yo can travel is to bariloche(argentina) ive heard that there's a cool place to snowboarding, i went to bariloche 3 times, but never to snowboarding, the town of bariloche ias amazing, you have lots of entreteinments stuffs to do at day and night, the bad thing is that bariloche its an expensive town
